First and foremost thank you for the knowledge in which you are passing on to our sister's and brother's of color. I've rather enjoyed this particular live show because it depict the truth on to many levels and the comment you made about blacks being stuck with that plantation mentally took me back to a discussion I had awhile back with my mother. Basically I voiced my opinion on wanting to actually move overseas and she made a comment stating that she doesn't understand why people travel to these different countries when America has many great wonders of its own. That kind of discouraged me in an aspect because she is my mother but after listening to your show I'm feeling very empowered and more eager to pack my bags and just explore for year. My question is what place would best to start my voyage of education?

Excellent game Tariq....This makes me want to go get a passport. Matter of fact im going tommorow lol.Blacks do need to travel and get away from massa for a while. We are constantly told that Amerikkka is the greatest country on earth and that other countries are diseased, poverty and war stricken. Black people have internalized these things and have somewhat become brainwashed by that propaganda.True, there are unsafe parts in other countries but there are also unsafe parts here as well. Its time to free our minds from those mental chains and hop our asses on some planes. Tariq you are a true inspiration brotha....good game.

I wish more people would go travel abroad and they would really see the manipulation tactics used by the media. I'm a black man who grew up in Germany the majority of my childhood, so everything since my childhood has always been from a different perspective. I remember when I went first entered my freshman year of college and I had culture shock because there were some things my people were doing that was weird to me. I appreciate this show and keep passing knowledge to our people.

Hey brother interesting how you said you grew up in Germany, well let me be the first to tell you this. This information I am about to give you is shocking to the point of you being anger at the media here even more. Heck anger at the teachers who been teaching you lies here in America. I feel sorry for the Germany people on this one, because of the huge world war 1 and 2 debt they still have to pay, based on a lie. Watch this documentary called Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told:

Fear of getting "took" renders blacks motionless in a lot of instances. Fear of banks, put money in mattresses. Fear of car salesman, ride the bus or get took by a black salesman. Fear that traveling costs a grip, don't even bother inquiring....travel agent don't want to educate you because they think blacks are just kicking tires.

My advice for the first time traveler abroad is to go with a tour group and from this experience you can decide which places you like best to return to for a longer period of time, if you so choose. With a tour group you have a tour guide who speaks the language, your accommodations are pre-paid and booked as well as your meals and transportation to all tour sites. You can't beat it, it's the only way to go.

That is a great idea. I was in Europe last summer and saw tourist buses loaded, literally, with Indians, Chinese, Japanese and Koreans lining up to see the sites.

Racism isn't as wide spread in Europe like it is in America. if you did research or watch Hidden Colors 3, you realize that America was built on slavery and racism(unlike anywhere else). Many of the Europeans that came here back then, were mistreated and wasn't even considered white until they were brainwashed to adopt such social engineering concept, just like us adopting the social engineering concept of blackness. And your right Europe's concept of race was very different than America. As a matter fact South America, and everywhere else's concept of race is different than America. If you did research on Fredrick Douglas and many other black people that actually traveled back then, were more accepted elsewhere than America. Like Russia for example:

White people love to tell you that other countries are worse or just as bad as amerikkka, in terms of racism. That is SO not true but b/c we don't travel a lot, I never have anyone to help corroborate that statement. We really need to get out more and it's not as economically stressful as people think b/c you pay on your trip just like you pay a bill! You do have to have extra money for things you might want to buy but there's a limit to that anyway (at least that you are willing to declare, lol). Essentially, you don't have to pay for these trips in one lump sum and I think this is a common misconception among us.

I just got back from China about a month ago, and I had read a lot about racism out there. Yeah, the racism is out there, partially promoted by the mainstream media and some other races that travel and want to keep us out, but overall, I had a great time and plan on going back next year. We should be traveling and trying to establish businesses globally. There is a lot of money out there. Just look at the Chinese bringing iPhones back to China and selling them for thousands!

I really enjoyed this podcast, it reminded me of the regional mackin show Tariq did a couple years back, but this time it dealt with international travel. It is very crucial for us as black folks to travel outside the usa, so we can gain a different perspective of the world in which we live in. I hope within the next 5 years I can do some international travel. My first destination I want to travel to is Australia. Also, he forgot about the black missionaries that travel the world and preach the gospel and black students studying abroad.

Can someone please enlighten me on whether an ex-con can get a passport to travel abroad. Many blacks have minor felonies that may prevent them from traveling. Just another way of keeping us on the plantation and prevent us from expanding globally. Any information will be helpful..

Get your record expunged first. Tariq did an ad on a recent podcast (within the last ten I think) for a service that shows brothers how to clean up their identity. I say that because even if you leave the country with no problems at Customs, etc, you may have some coming back - they scrutinize brothers heavily in airports other than Atlanta/Chicago (where there are a lot of traveling people of color - Dallas is the worst I've experienced - I refuse to take connecting flights there anymore).

You know more than me man, I have just visited and had some experiences. I just want to chop it up in this topic, so we can avoid situations like I posted above. During that time, I was in a convenience store in Izu Atagawa and the clerk screamed "Amerikajin killed taxi driver!!!' and literally ran out of the store! When that $$$t happened I was so mad I boycotted the country for two years.

Just came back from A province in China called Anhui. super nice a and very cute people. I report that everyone call me African or American. I didn't care, I was too busy eating good food with my extended family there. And yes, if you have never left the U.s.a, you are at an extreme mental disadvantage. We got it good in the U.S.a BUT white supremacy still sucks. I'm not comfortable being second class, no matter how rich my country. Check out James ESL YouTube channel. It's a brother teaching English.

Of course no other country is as bad as America. The U.S.'s entire foundation is based on racism/ white supremacy.

I track European football peripherally and have very little sympathy for Balotelli and the rest of those players. Hear me out. There is a significant number of really talented black strikers playing for many of these teams. The next time a banana gets thrown or the crowd makes monkey noises, all of those black strikers, or a plurality of them need to say they will stop playing until the banana throwers are banned for life from the soccer games.

And another thing, those Europeans aim racist chants at EVERY melanated player. They don't care which tribe/ethnic group they claim. S-curl, dread, bald etc. They make no difference. I said this before in another thread but I am heartened that so many of the Africans I meet understand that the dominant society does not care about anything other than skin complexion.

I THINK Donald Sterling is gone not because of black players, its because the power-that-be (some rich white illuminati-scale type cats) wanted him gone. Same for this stuff with Goodell. I think they are trying to get rid of traditional sports so they can bring in those straight up gladiator sports like back in boody-diddling Rome days ie Batlle Royale or Hunger Games
Hors Sfier
10/1/2014 01:38:57 am
Never underestimate quiet storms that start major wars. If you want to maintain white supremacy then you must quell ANYTHING that will rally black people. Sterling had done messier things through the years but his statements kept getting repeated in the press. That is dangerous to white supremacy because even the coon can't defend a Sterling, try though he may.

Even more succinctly, somehow the two richest countries in Europe, France and Germany, managed to make the phrases Sieg Heil and the Nazi salute criminally offensive yet they can't do the same for monkey chants and thrown bananas? WTF.

Bravo! I have traveled abroad without being in the military or for a hookup-lol. I taught English abroad and had a great time doing it. People are so happy to meet Black Americans because they listen to our music and view our culture from afar. Some places we are treated like celebrities. Yes there is so much mis-information out there about traveling and it's sad. But people who want to listen and do it will find a way.

That is a great point. Black people have a lot of goodwill built up overseas due to the affinity the WORLD has for black music. You will find entire websites dedicated to black musicians run by Koreans, Japanese, Germans, etc. Now, of course we do not want to be known just as entertainers but that musical marketing has blunted a lot of the imagery that would have us portrayed as demonic. I remember watching video of Michael Jackson, back when he was still visibly a black man, going to Japan. Those Japanese people lost their freaking minds. I mean, young girls still in their school uniforms were chasing after his motorcade. I can't remember who said that MJ was the first black man that other (white, Asian) men actually wanted to BE rather than just emulate.

The racism I have experienced outside of the US has come from the hands of white supremacist who thought I was a native or an African from Africa. And once they figured it out I wasn't/wouldn't take no mess from them it all went well...Except for a couple times when a slap or kick was needed
Reply
9/30/2014 09:38:18 am
You are right. A lot of the racism that we face overseas will come from White folks that think that Black folks shouldn't leave the plantation. They want to keep the world as their playground and will try to throw salt in our game overseas. Even on forums they try to promote negativity when it comes to Black folks traveling. I am not saying that racism doesn't exist in these other cultures and locations, but much of it is permeated by other travelers trying to promote ill and of course, the mainstream media.

One thing I will say about people outside of the US. They are outside of the propaganda machine. A lot of foreigners understand exactly how the US has been abusive toward the black population. Not because foreigners love blacks, but they rather they can remain objective. So black people still have a chance to write their own stories outside of the USA, simply because other nations refuse to accept the narrative coming from DC and Hollywood. We have an audience if we can at least get on the same page.

if I look at a big picture for this question my answer would be we Moore Americans don't travel because of the conditions we were mentally put through on slave ships and trains if your put in an extreme condition for hundreds of years on or two things I can think of could happen you become extreme or you fear the extreme and I think we grew into fear of going outside of the place that enslaved us. Like if you kidnapped a person for so long then the people who did the kidnapping dressed you feed you and cleanse you then after awhile your brain starts to shift to protecting your enemies because they are all you become to know. It's the same as being kidnapped from one land to another. Now say this been going on for five hundred years I think that can put a mental chain like condition on us and our seeds. But I also believe that the mental chains in our head our braking apart and letting the truth about who we really are the will royal kings and queens mentality that of our ancestors first condition us with before slavery was ever put into existence are now being released mentally. So it may not seem like black people doesn't travel out of America but there is an uprising in that because our minds are opening up.
