Pharrell Williams might have to lead off the next episode of "Coon Train." He was publicly critical of Mike Brown's "bullying" behavior, and blames him for causing the events that lead to his death. "How come we aren't talking about that?" he asks. He softens it a little by throwing in something about discussing what may have happened in his life to cause him to act that way, but circles back around to blaming him for getting killed.

If you read message boards following any Mike Brown article, you'll still see whites claiming he robbed the store (disproven), and that he had a lengthy juvenile record (disproven). If you see the pictures of the cop, there isn't a mark on him, or at least none that reflects the supposed attack he describes. The video footage of him in the store definitely doesn't show a robbery. In fact, it gives every appearance that he reached into his pocket and paid. It shows him reaching over the counter (which was a mistake, but we don't know what prompted it), and a disagreement with another employee of the store, who put his hands on him FIRST, and he shoved him away (hardly an ASSAULT). Whites want to believe he was some kind of monster, but there's nothing in his background to suggest he was a "thug" as so many like to refer to him. The tussle with the cop many have been him trying to prevent the cop from shooting him for nothing. If it can't be self-defense anymore if he shoots him in the back from 60-90 feet away. It turns out now that witnesses have either changed or recanted their original versions of the events.

Every week millions of black doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers, accountants... sacrifice their time and energy to go to church. It's already their routine. But when they get there, they usually don't do anything but sing songs, pray for other people to do stuff for them and listen to a criminal or a crook tell them how they should live. It's the most wasted resource in the world but noone is taking advantage of it yet. For the first time in the history of the world, all of the people at the churches can easily communicate with each other for instantly for not much money. These new black atheists are telling black people to not go to church. But the black church is black americans' best resource, it's just not being utilized. I know the black church is FUCKED up, and it's mostly because it's lead by black preachers who don't have degrees in anything other than bullshittin'. When people ask who the black leaders of the community are, it's the black preachers. Here's a question. If not the black church, then who? And you all think it's bad now... what do you think will happen after we lose the black church? The black church is where black americans gather and give their money every week. That many accountants could come uip with a way to account for the money first. From there, separate questions to the different professionals in each field. Have them work together online and come up with solutions for the black community and have all of the black churches organize and DO. Somehow prayer has replaced doing but if people are religious, pray for the strength to DO. Again, if you think it's bad now, how bad do you think it'll be if we lose the black church?

I agree with most of that comment. The black church is the last institution run by black people. unfortunately it is mostly run by failed drug dealers and failed pimps. The black church has produced zero change in the past 30 years as most preachers just move to the white suburbs. It would be great to use the existing infrastructure. But if the black secularists provide a better alternative, then so be it.

Native American slave trade involved a number of colonies, including Virginia, Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Kitts, and Nevis. So many Indian slaves were traded to Pennsylvania that a law was passed in 1705 forbidding the importation of Carolina Indian slaves.

The Irish slave trade began when James II sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves.

During the 1650s, over 100,000 Irish children between the ages of 10 and 14 were taken from their parents and sold as slaves in the West Indies, Virginia and New England. In this decade, 52,000 Irish (mostly women and children) were sold to Barbados and Virginia. Another 30,000 Irish men and women were also transported and sold to the highest bidder. In 1656, Cromwell ordered that 2000 Irish children be taken to Jamaica and sold as slaves to English settlers.

As an example, the African slave trade was just beginning during this same period. It is well recorded that African slaves, not tainted with the stain of the hated Catholic theology and more expensive to purchase, were often treated far better than their Irish counterparts.

England continued to ship tens of thousands of Irish slaves for more than a century. Records state that, after the 1798 Irish Rebellion, thousands of Irish slaves were sold to both America and Australia. There were horrible abuses of both African and Irish captives. One British ship even dumped 1,302 slaves into the Atlantic Ocean so that the crew would have plenty of food to eat.

Other info that you neglected to include is when the Europeans started observing the camaraderie among the poor whites (Irish) and Africans they proceeded to drive a wedge between the groups by giving the Irish land and giving them jobs overseeing Africans.

The Barbary slave trade refers to the White slave markets that flourished on the Barbary Coast of North Africa, or modern-day Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and western Libya, between the 16th and 19th centuries. These markets prospered while the states were nominally under Ottoman suzerainty, but in reality were mostly autonomous. The North African slave markets traded in European slaves. The European slaves were acquired by local pirates in slave raids on ships and by raids on coastal towns from Italy to Spain, Portugal, France, England and as far afield as Iceland. Men, women and children were captured to such a devastating extent that vast numbers of seacoast towns were abandoned.
