People be thinkin you crazy or paranoid for breaking down the hidden messages in these movies an TV shows to 'em. They try to attack your subconscious on every level. Iv'e even noticed similar themes in certain video games. Great show Tariq. FYI those troll calls are nothing but cries for help.

One of the reasons black people from 3rd world countries do well in America is because in their home countries the media is 100% a tool of the ruling party. Radio and television are propaganda tools.

Propaganda is an arsenal of a war machine. Black people have been under a suppression campaign for our entire existence in this country. A lot of that comes from the media. This is why I am cool on black people like Viola Davis crying and begging for roles in Hollywood. Hollywood is quasi-government organization if you look specifically at the message they promote of white supremacy.

Say what you want about Tyler Perry but at least his moves gives you the black as the villain and the hero.

I used to watch this Sci-Fi show called Andromeda. The main character was a white guy. But the main writer, some jewish cat, introduced this black, dreadlocked brother named Tyre. Tyre was a bad mofo the first season. He was smart, powerful and apparently banging a lot of white women. He was getting more popular than the white male lead. Then the second season, they neutered his character and I think killed him off. The white male lead got jealous, kicked out the white jewish writer and weakened Tyre's character.

Ever since then, I have taken a real skeptical view of black people who are characters in mostly white productions.

Damn it Tariq,please stop analyzing the most popular show on t.v & trying to make it out to be racist or "codefied"...Do some research on its creator Robert Kirkman who is the FURTHEST thing from a racist. It's a show about the damn zombie apocalypse for fuc#s sake. If you want a villian,continue to go after ACTUALLY racists like Ridley Scott who portrayed ancient Egyptians as white people...Or Mel Gibson and company. Also,learn how to pay attention, you got umpteen details wrong about that episode of the Walking Dead.

I can speak to this, when the Walking Dead show first started coming on TV, Tariq would complain about TDOG and how played to Caucasian stereotypes about African American people. Because TDOG was a walking stereotype... how did the well get poisoned/ Because TDOG got mad and killed the zombie in the well! TDOG wasn't even a character Robert Kirkman created (as Tariq pointed out), he created Tyrese (so we know who he is a fan of), a character they killed off pretty quickly IMO.

But I want to get into the history of these producers, they are both what the layman considers TPTB. In Prometheus, they had a throwaway scene where Idris Elba's character hooks up with Charlize Theron's character. This is why so many Caucasian men don't like the movie. Ridley Scott's brother killed himself as a blood sacrifice, so if this man don't want to put black men/asian men in his movie about where mankind originated, he wouldn't have. But Gale Anne Hurd is the racist illuminati beach here. Every movie/TV show she does, she sheets on black/colored people. This is the problem with trying to school black people. They will argue with you about a minor point and miss the big picture. I used to run staff meetings and the worst people were the ones who will dead an entire agenda to whine about a minor point. I gave up trying to explain anything to black people past 5 minutes. White people will at least listen on the off chance you have some game they have never heard before. Real talk.

2. Black people need to put a hard separation between a need and a want. A video game is a want. Gas, clothing and food are needs. Stop spending money on wants and you will have more liquidity to finance a business that can sponsor a need.

Black people could get gas and convenience store franchises just like these Indians and Pakistanis. Those are needs. You need this stuff in stages. A lot of Latinos in my area started off with food trucks. Those are needs. Next thing you know, those Latinos have restaurants.

Compare Morgan on The Walking Dead with the white characters on Spartacus, Gladiator and the 300. All of those white characters fought until the bitter end, died with their swords in their hands rather than submit to an outsider. That is what white people teach their children. Later for this Akido garbage. A white man will study yoga and still practice white supremacy on you. Listen to the rest of the show on yt and it gets clearer.

But the game ain't for everyone.

Good topic. I just had a "debate" with someone on the use of the word Black to describe ourselves. My point was that "Black" is only a term to describe an experience. We as Black folks live a world caste system where if you are "Black" you experience a different reaction within the system. This is why you can label "Black" people all over the world (India, South Pacific, Africa, Middle East, ect.) and be correct, but we are not the same from a Phenotype and Cultural point of view.

We really need to stop saying who's "Black" or not IMO, this is not even a real title. We need to nation build and come up with a name from OUR origin.

Black trolls know better than to troll a white, especially a white supremacist. That white person will call the police with no hesitation. And the black troll knows it. All that white has to say is that the troll made terrorist threats and it is a wrap.

I worked with a few black hoodrats and bastard sons of single mothers.(I think Tariq did a mack lesson on black men being careful with spreading that seed. I got that lesson in living color)

Interesting analysis of the walking dead. I noticed a while ago ALL black characters (males at least) are pussified. (Keep in mind Glen has never killed anyone either.)

Anyway, I don't know if that was their intention with the symbolism or if Tariq has looked too much into it, but I do know this... Not to put anything passed white supremacists... LITERALLY nothing.

Hollywood knows how to work the subconscious. I think that's how gayness was accepted so quickly. Gays are all over Hollywood, they pushed their agenda and literally within a decade (Late 90's to 2000's). America went from hating gays, and being grossed out by homosexuality to having half of social media changing their Facebook pictures to the rainbow flag!

It's all about programming.

That said, I want to point out a bit of a mistake. Unlike white supremacists, the white guy in the show actually practiced what he preached. The guy was EXACTLY like Morgan. He adapted Aikido after he realized getting revenge did not bring him peace and he did not want Morgan going down a similar path. He was not being a hypocrite.

P.S. Michonne killed the governor... but that's the only instance I can remember of a black person killing a white person.

Dude I don't remember the title And if I find it, I will post but some gay men in the 80s literally published a book on how gays can gain acceptance in the mainstream. A super christian black chick I knew back in the day bought a used copy so she could warn black christians about the homosexual agenda. And it was not a small book either. Probably around 400 pages. So the gays had a plan. And now look. You can't even say "no homo" without apologizing. When the Phoenix Suns had black athletes doing PSAs about bullying gays it was a wrap. Black athletes will rep for everyone else's cause, breast cancer, gays, ms, but won't stand up to white supremacy. But I digress.

You don't even have to go as far as Aikido. White christians complete ignore what Jesus Christ taught about being kind to others. They don't give a damn about a love your neighbor. And I don't think Tariq's analysis was a mistake. The key is the big picture. The symbolism of putting a black man in a cage in order to control him is so powerful. Morgan did not make HIS OWN choice. He did not decide on his own to adopt Aikado. Who was that white man, to decide what Morgan should or should not do? Let that man go on his road and continue his own destiny. Hand him a book on Aikdao and keep it rolling. That cage and the prison of the mind is what makes the analysis on point for me.

I like that you pointed out the cowardliness of black people portrayed in this show. I remember in one of the earlier shows when Merle called that black man from the earlier episodes a nigger. I was pissed that in response, he did nothing. Also, when Tyrese was punked out, to say, by some dude basically telling him he did not have the balls to kill him. Tyrese did not kill him, and even told Carol that he'd taken care of it, saving the piece of shits life. smdh

I do like the symbolism you pointed out from this episode, that's some raw stuff man. I got start looking of this stuff on the regular. Nice observation.
