Tariq, I get that you're mad and all but the stump for trump girls don't sound like slaves and they do not have slave accents. I mean, have you ever been to NC? If not, then you need to come and check out some of the more rural areas and listen to us talk. Some of our accents sound just like them and we do not sound like slaves. We just sound like people with different accents. Please don't disrespect us people in NC talking about we sound like slaves cause we don't sound like we are mimicking white folk every step of the way.

I'm from N.C. and lets agree to disagree. N.C. people do talk like slaves. I watch some slave narratives and a lot speak just like them.

I completely agree. If I ran into someone that spoke like that I would recommend a dialect coach. It's demeaning, embarrassing and undermines every effort progressive black men and women have tried to make in this country. I realize there are some states/areas where the King's English and essential phonetics and sentence structure are not taught and I understand that it takes will to be better than you were but damn. Clearly these women are paid clowns. I would go so far to say that if I met these two women in person I would treat them like shit on my shoe.

These two dirty birds sound like slaves because they put themselves in service of a white supremacist, plain and simple.

Speak however you want but do not service a known white
supremacist. Those dumb pastors for trump sounded like slaves too, just embarrassing themselves. The people in that audience hate black mothers and blame them for a lot of the crime.

I've seen black and white video footage of blacks from the north and south. Those blacks spoke intelligently. Those women went out of their way to represent their city exactly the way they did. I guarantee you if they are in front of a judge facing criminal charges, all that sass goes down really quickly. So blame only those women for misrepresenting the south like that.

Not to get off topic, but these are two dark skinned, clearly black women. Can someone else explain why biracial and mixed people are not black and need to be kicked out from the struggle but THESE two can stay in the black community? We have no methods to keep those two away but the biracials and the mixed are the problem? Smh. Black people need to start thinking strategically and tactically really quickly. Somehow these two dirty birds can play the buck dancing role but they are authentically black?! When they put this type of slavish black out there, that means they don't care and are about to go all in.

Back on topic, I never realized that Mandela's presidency might have been a blueprint for Obama's. I mean it worked in South Africa, why not try it in America?

That "lack of progress" affects white lives too. A couple years ago I moved out of a bad situation in Oakland (rats, no heat, landlord shakedowns, etc) to San Francisco. Within months my income and job situation improved. I was also able to settle my legal problems without adding any new cases.

Naturally I rode hard for my new city until I encouraged one of my black friends to move here too. Her experience showed me just how racist and backwards San Francisco actually is. Eventually I couldn't defend or make excuses for it any more.

On one hand I'm grateful for the the changes SF allowed me to make, but on the other I'm disgusted that the same opportunities aren't available to everyone.

In 2016 I'm looking for the next place to move to. I'm checking NYC out next month
