I agree Flex...If both parties are not benefiting from a relationship it defeats the purpose of its existence. Its a waist of time, energy and resources. This show hits home because I've experienced something similar. I was in a relationship were I was financially and emotionally unstable. I ended up depending on my ex so much it started to drain her energy then her frustration would manifest itself by her lashing out and disrespecting me. I wasn't holding down a job ,she would kick me out numerous times and I would beg her to let me back in. Every time I did that I felt like my balls were being chopped off, I felt like a shell of a man.... to sum it up...worthless. No longer will I ever go through that or put another woman through that again. I'm going to make sure I have my shit together, at least on an emotional level before I get back in anything serious. Great show...Good food for thought....Keep dropping jewels and enlightening our people brotha.

Great show Tariq. I just recently seperated from my wife about two months. There was no stability,i was the financial provider, I made sure my home was in order, cook and clean, did luandry, took care of my kids, and paid the majority of the bills. My wife became too comfortable with the situatuon and became very lazy. It had got to the point where she stopped caring about her physical apperance. Moreover, the physical fights between us lead with me bringing an end to our 9 year relationship. I really felt as if she was draining my energy.

Family I know you may not understand where I'm coming from (unless you've spent time in the Armed Forces or the 3 letter organizations; sitting with, congregating with, and bumping shoulders with the powers) but please try... all we've got is each other.

Man, Tariq is the only one breaking down the game like this, from the street to the corporate power structure. It is true. Brother, thank you so much for sharing and clarifying the game.

The culture has been fucked up by the Drum, the music. Everything you can point to that is wrong with ppl's minds and communities is glamorized by this shit.. yes! its only supposed to be Entertainment. As long as you've got African in you, you will always be moved by the drum! ALWAYS. It's getting worse...Black girls and women their lowered self-image & esteem, celebrating getting pussy and other levels of ratchetness/shallowness, hyper-aggression, glorifying destructive behaviors and communities etc, etc...This is not only Black mega voice raising severely misguided Black children, but it'll later guide them too making life all about those same exact elements of the music, especially when they're parents cant show them money We are not white ppl! and if there is anything they got from good music they got it from us. We've turned around and used it on ourselves.. and too many are getting drunk off that culture, as it seems to be the only Black dominate culture. They've proudly allowed it to destroy them and their subsequent generations.
