I think I might fall into the pennypincher category a bit. I like taking a girl out to a nice spot for drinks. But, if she starts ordering appys and dinner on a first date, then I think it is up to her to pay for that. I have to stick with some sort of budget, even though I don't really have money problems.

I was definitely #5. Too damn serious especially as a teen and then wondered why females werent feeling me. I'm in my mid 40's now and I still am to a certain degree, but I have lightened up gradually over the years.

I am a female listener and I don't always agree with Tariq but today's show was very true- about men and women. I saw myself in one of his examples lol.

On a side note, Tariq should write a comedy movie script about relationships I can see that he is talented and funny. I replayed it a couple times for a laugh.

Is anyone starting to feel very uneasy about the direction the US is headed? I feel like there will be a catastrophic economic failure soon, a terrorist attack, or a war and the US will turn into a complete dictatorship. I saw the dangers of the real estate bubble in 2008, but didn't say anything. Now after doing some research, I see the rise of a totalitarian state and want to warn everyone. I am a normal, level-headed person and I wouldn’t be writing this is if I was not worried about the US.

The USA has never recovered from the 2008 financial crisis. Dangerous derivatives are still being sold, no new clear financial laws have been enacted, brokerages can still own banks, and almost no one was punished for blowing up the economy. The US government debt is soaring, the government has punished small businesses with regulations and taxes, and is bankrupting us by printing and borrowing money to fund our massive military and to reward the lazy with food stamps and free health insurance. The stock market is at record highs because it is being propped up by government money. The USA does not manufacture much these days and our labor costs are not competitive with countries like China. The few jobs available in the US are now being turned into part-time jobs so companies can avoid giving health insurance to workers.

The US is also overrun with illegal immigrants that are given welfare, can attend colleges, have driver licenses, and are not deported even if they commit other crimes. Why should Americans obey the law if the government or illegal immigrants don’t?

Not only are we flooded with illegal aliens and have a ruined economy, the USA has turned into a police state. The US government is restricting guns, spying on reporters, harassing protesters, banning protests, using secret courts, recording phone calls and emails without warrants, tracking postal mail, keeping "no fly" lists, blocking websites, has legalized indefinite detention without trials, and is killing and torturing Americans without trials.

Where is the outrage? What used to be a conspiracy theory has now become a fact. Why even have a Bill of Rights anymore? Why pay taxes to a government that imprisons us? How can the USA lecture countries like China or North Korea about human rights now?

The US government has become blatantly corrupt, dishonest, inept, and evil. Is everyone in the US government being blackmailed and bribed? This is like a nightmare. The president needs to be impeached and the entire congress should be voted out. Why doesn’t anyone say anything? When will Americans start to care? Where do we draw the line? Are we just going to roll over and give up? What good will money do if we have no freedom? Millions of Americans should be marching in Washington, DC everyday now. I am extremely disturbed by these actions to outlaw freedom and destroy us. Nearly everything is illegal now and we are all considered to be terrorists. Obama and the media treats Americans like idiots, but everyone can see what is happening. If we don’t protest these draconian and Unconstitutional laws, Americans don’t deserve to be free.
