This Shay Butter twitter movement has got to be one of the worst things to happen to black women.

A lot of these "woke" sistas are bed-wenches, Tariq is 100% on point about this one.

What's happening is the dominant society is - successfully - uplifting white supremacy through the guise of feminism / female empowerment.

I see all of the black women on social media saying shit like

but since we're not the african women and we can't really control their actions, its best to let them do their thing.

let them get the treatment of europe supremacist, there will be one in there that will go against the african women.

I feel ya sis, I personally (and this is just me) make a special effort NOT to criticize Trump publicly.

This is because he has become what the KKK was, a safe thing white people can criticize to feel like they're "good people"/ not racists.

1. Black women are targets of w.s. That is why their image is always ignored or degraded. I don't cosign it but I get the psychology behind why certain Black women are cheering this engagement so hard.

That being said Meghan Markle has never claimed anything remotely connected to Black women. People need to read up on Jennifer Beals from that movie Flashdance. Zoe Saldana is another more recent one. We need to stop claiming people who want nothing to do with us.

2. Tariq isn't lying. Some of the most Pro-Black sisters now were in a bed wench relationship that went wrong. I got some relatives in that situation. Don't think because she shames you for being with a white woman that some arab or indian ain't hitting that.

I agree with everything except point 3. It’s become common to hear people say that bedwenches run to white guys because black men don’t have their economic game down. The problem I have with that theory is that I’m seeing too many ‘wenches going with broke white guys, many of them old Steve Bannon-looking dudes. A lot of these black women are definitely not with these guys for money, education, cultural refinement, or looks--unless they’ve got a fetish for the geriatric (grand)dad-bod. In the Washington, DC area it’s an epidemic

Yeah, I hear you on point 3. It is just really weak for certain Black men to call Black women names without putting up some form of resistance in the form of economics. etc. I went into business for myself and have two Black women as business partners for another venture. So I personally will be hell on a bed wench after all of the energy it took for me to go independent.

Brothers who sit their hollering "bed wench" but are passive in the struggle are real dusty to me. If you can't start in your own business, at least pool some money together and invest in other melanoids.

Like so many other black artists of the day, the devil was in the details in the form of contracts and agreements with the mob filtered thru corrupt record executives and banksters. The bitter ending of Creadel’s journey in 1994, penniless on the streets of L.A., has spurred Darren on to become a champion for artists everywhere who’ve suffered from this decades-old system of abuse.

-Main Characters –

Darren Cubie, founder of Entertainers Against Corruption tells the story of Creadel “Red” Jones of the iconic Chi-Lites, the horrific betrayal by his mother Deborah Jones and aunt Regina Cubie and a family ripped apart by an industry of greed. It is thru the telling of the tale that positive change is achieved.

-Story Structure –

The documentary will feature archival footage of classic Chi-Lites performances as well as references to several R&B icons both past and present (i.e. Jackie Wilson, the Jacksons, Beyonce). Primarily the story is about Darren’s survival in the face of this machine that threatened to grind him and his family into the dirt. The refusal to bend to the systematic abuse the led Creadel to his tragic demise is Darren’s mission – changing the system, one story at a time. Throughout the recollection of the sad past of Darren’s life should be a present-day bridge showing his efforts to reverse things on behalf of artists everywhere. The day to day hustle of being the voice behind Entertainers Against Corruption. Ultimately we should see Darren continue to recruit other R&B and industry stars to the cause to not let his story repeat itself.

-Style –

The flashbacks can have a lo-fi look to them and the present day footage can be shot in a stylized way with go pro kinds of cameras to capture the immediacy of Darren’s day to day mission.
