The negro bed wench epidemic is real and rising. It's not enough for these black females to spread their legs for white males; these black females must throw black men under the bus. I think part of the reason they do that is to justify to the world, and to themselves, why they sleep with males outside their race. Further, they throw black men under the bus to reassure their white male counterparts of their loyalty.

Whenever a black female tells me she dates whites or have dated whites, I instinctively lose interest in her. I simply have zero trust in those females.

Yeah, if you take a look, the white gays like to portray themselves as all-american as a heterosexual family. But they depict Black gays as universally flamboyant or butch.

David Chappelle nailed it when he said on Oprah that there was an obsession in Hollywood with seeing Black men in dresses.
They portray Black women as violent and ghetto.

I don't trust a damn thing any of these wicked demons have to say about the Black community or Black family. There has never been a point in american history where the dominant society was at least neutral toward the Black family. They have always been evil.

I roll with Black people who are on the same movement of economic empowerment.
Everyone else can just jump off a cliff. I don't care.

Wow, ignorance seems to be pervasive and celebrated here. I see a lot of archaic, out of step, and out of date thinking in the comments. Black ignorance is just as bad, if not worse than the white ignorance that you're constantly posting about.

The critic of this show and some comments is this: the hate within and out of black community against the black LGBTQ. Some from radical Christianity (hating Muslims, Jews, gays, economic socialist, and others) was not mentioned. By the way, Tariq...is a "pious" Muslim name...which mean/implication to be "pious" in speech. Ironically, explicit/liturgical content in this program.

I don't think black gays have an agenda to demean black family life. The main issue is hypocrisy. Case in point: the late Bishop Eddie Long of Atlanta with his lavish life style...Allegations of hitting on black boys (15-22) in his church abound while vehement preaching against gays in and out - while trying to make them straight. I don't have a problem with its except the hypocrisy at large and the silence of the black church/community. Furthermore, very little in the media has been said about the murders of black trans and young black gay men. I suspect these killings (over 100 in 2017 alone) is done by Atl Right Police both white and black. It would be interesting to see the media investigate these killings including this one.

-Synopsis –

The son of an R&B legend tells the incredible but true story of a family torn apart by greed, corruption and the systematic abuse of black artists in the United States. Darren Cubie grew up in St. Louis not knowing why assassination attempts, FBI investigations, and witness protection programs weren’t supposed to be a ’normal’ part of life. With the hall of fame success of the iconic soul group known as the Chi-Lites, Darren’s father, founding member Creadel “Red” Jones came a terrible price. Like so many other black artists of the day, the devil was in the details in the form of contracts and agreements with the mob filtered thru corrupt record executives and banksters. The bitter ending of Creadel’s journey in 1994, penniless on the streets of L.A., has spurred Darren on to become a champion for artists everywhere who’ve suffered from this decades-old system of abuse.

-Main Characters –

Darren Cubie, founder of Entertainers Against Corruption tells the story of Creadel “Red” Jones of the iconic Chi-Lites, the horrific betrayal by his mother Deborah Jones and aunt Regina Cubie and a family ripped apart by an industry of greed. It is thru the telling of the tale that positive change is achieved.

-Story Structure –

The documentary will feature archival footage of classic Chi-Lites performances as well as references to several R&B icons both past and present (i.e. Jackie Wilson, the Jacksons, Beyonce). Primarily the story is about Darren’s survival in the face of this machine that threatened to grind him and his family into the dirt. The refusal to bend to the systematic abuse the led Creadel to his tragic demise is Darren’s mission – changing the system, one story at a time. Throughout the recollection of the sad past of Darren’s life should be a present-day bridge showing his efforts to reverse things on behalf of artists everywhere. The day to day hustle of being the voice behind Entertainers Against Corruption. Ultimately we should see Darren continue to recruit other R&B and industry stars to the cause to not let his story repeat itself.

-Style –

The flashbacks can have a lo-fi look to them and the present day footage can be shot in a stylized way with go pro kinds of cameras to capture the immediacy of Darren’s day to day mission.
