Yah, I even say 10000% true. I have been thinking along the same lines of a white supremacist lottery ever since the shooting of Amadou Diallo. The pay per view special he did called "Who are You?" even intensified this thinking (for me). I recommend it highly

Asians will always stick up for other Asians even if they are wrong.

Every group has division within their race. I agree, different Asians hate each other.

Hell, even whites hate each other. Italians, Irish, Poles all hate one another...

The difference is, they know to put that aside and stick together when it comes to facing another group.

Asians of any nationality will all practice group economics.

That is not the point.The point is not to stick together no matter what, just at strategic levels.

Asians know to stick together relative to white supremacy. Truth be told, Americans make no difference between Chinese and Vietnamese and will jack one up just as quickly as another. Most Asians get this and at the very least put their conflicts aside when they deal with white people.

In America, I was on a technical project with Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshi, with a bunch of castes represented. Those people speak Urdu and Hindi which are mutually intelligible. All of them kept a united front relative to the white people. YEs, they had internal issues, especially the Indians and the Pakistanis due to terrorism in Kashmir, etc. Meanwhile, the blacks who were all raised in the US and were nominally Christian at least would not even SPEAK TO ONE ANOTHER. It was enough to make a grown man cry.

How about that ESPN runs a corporation and Steven A Smith was walking a tight rope... and they pulled the plug on him just to avoid the heat? That is what all corporations do when things like that happen, I personally think that women like to hear what they want to hear and it's called selective hearing. ESPN seen the backlash and the pulled him off the air for a week, he'll be right back talking again. This whole white lottery thing is a crock of shit... just scared nigga tactics. I don't think he was being literal about the Lottery thing... (I could be wrong). But the point is, they DO like to exert their power from time to time. Show him who's boss, so to speak.

I don't buy the 'ESPN feared backlash' excuse because Heather Cox received a lot of backlash for attacking a black football player (Jamies Winston) with questions regarding a rape allegation.

ESPN protected her lily white ass. They could've done the same for Smith if they wanted to, but he doth tans too much!

Well you got to understand that there is a cat by the name of Max Betos, that made comments about Jeremy Lin being Asian, saying that he has to be tough and don't let him have "chinks" in his armor, and that cat got suspended for a whole month... then fired and this cat is lily white. Stephen A got beside himself because he is trying to do the whole "Barbershop Talk" routine that you and I know about when we go to get a fade at the local shop. He got caught up man that's it, I don't think this was a race thing, more of a women's rights thing than anything

premo, regarding Max Betos you can't compare that one to Smith. The words chink and gook to asians are the closest equivalents to the word nigger. Betos saying chink is nowhere near Smith saying that women should think first before they act. Betos *should* have been suspended.

secondo, the Asians are on the same page with regard to disparaging remarks. A closer equivalent to the Max Betos situation was the Starr and Bucwild Tsunami song. If you recall, all of the Asians and even the Indians got on the same page about how offensive that song was. Starr and Bucwild got the boot pretty quickly after that because Asians actually can pull together a coalition of money and votes to back up their discontentment.

The Smith situation at a microlevel is similar to black feminists who spend their time undermining and kowtowing yet end up isolated with no power, subject to the whims of some random white person.There is a lesson.

they pulled the cord to avoid heat, are you serious? if that was the case then they wouldn't allow him to make any controversial comments since he wants to be sports shock jock. You can tell this was to send a message because the Sterling controversy was bigger then this so why was he allowed to rant and say he doesn't give a damn who he offends by his comments? Sterling was fined, banned for life, and forced to sell his team and you don't think that was a topic big enough to stay away from? They could have treated this comment just like they did when SAS backed mark cuban and have some ppl come on the show and have a debate like they did when they brought on Eric Dyson, but no they let ppl misquote SAS and twist his comments around after he clearly stated that hes in no way in support of domestic violence. This would have been a great discussion to be had. All hes saying if you listen to the whole comment was domestic violence exist and its wrong but dont put yourself in a position to increase the odds of it happening to you.

Hey man, Stephen A didn't really say anything that was controversial on any platform when it came to Donald Sterling or this Ray Rice situation. I agree with Stephen A and what he said 100%, but these women all they heard was that he was giving the green light to men to abusing women and they stopped listening to his comments after a certain moment. That topic is a sensitive issue and never should of been discussed on a sports show anyways knowing that there is no really right answer for this topic. Women only hear what they want to hear, period! I don't think this was a race issue, it was a women right's issue more than anything. sometimes Flex start feeling his own rhetoric that he is spitting and that shit don't make no sense at all. Of course there is Racism and white supremacy but in this case, im going to say no, white lottery or nothing... Stephen A is not important enough for all that nonsense that flex is speaking about.

Steven A Smith started to think he can say what he wanted, because of how his white colleges were giving him kudos for speaking against black athletes and black people. However, Steven A Smith like so many others got their "Nigger Wake Up!" call. And Steven thought if he apologized the heat would go away. Nope, when a black person apologizes, they turn the heat up, not down.

Like Neely Fuller Jr. says, "never apologize to white people for your actions, especially when there is no reason to apologize."

Man, this show like the last one, flows 100x better without the callers. The ladies are usually pretty good callers but the men can't get the phone and agenda game in line. I hope he keeps this format for the shows, maybe leaving calls for the last 10 minutes

In 2014, when brothers are struggling on the phone to put together a coherent thought, it tells you how much game is needed. Listen to audio of black men from before 1980. I would agree with you if this was an isolated event but there is definitely a trend of having celebrity black men bow down, in the name of "black people are racist/sexist too". The other day Questlove was making excuses for the nigger saying Iggy Azalea. Whoopi Goldberg made excuses for nigger saying Justin Bieber. WTF is wrong with black hollywood.How are they so weak?!?!?

White people are *still* mad at Michael Vick and Chris Brown even though both of those men served their court required obligations. Chad Ochocinqo got into it with a woman who had a known history of violence. Still paying. They want these black men on a nonstop apology tour. I am a critic of Smith but what he said was so vanilla that his suspension only makes sense when viewed as a white supremacist humiliation. The other white man had to call Erin Andrews a bitch over two broadcasts to get suspended. What Smith said was no way on that level. Any father with brains would teach his daughter not to escalate a situation, for her own survival.

Again the point remains, not one entertainment figure is defending Smith, not one. This whole thing was a manufactured backlash to force his humiliation and emasculation. Those white feminists want him suspended and a check cut to their pet cause.

Last week at a worksite, I said something that was imprudent. Not inappropriate but premature for that environment. Brothers, I was amazed at how quickly the white folk on my worksite immediately got on the same page to pounce on my words and tried to throw me under the bus. They were talking over each other to get at me.
I corrected them but kept my cool, as it was a provocation. Yes, indeed. There is a code. Do not wait until it is too late!

What you are doing on this board is a diversionary tactic. What sleight of hand are you really trying to pull? What is your real agenda?

1) Tariq is not saying white people are all the enemy. He is saying that a status quo predicated on white supremacy is a problem. Right now, the black community is wide open. Anyone can do anything in it, economically, socially, physically, culturally. Black people who actually have some power or money are isolated. Oprah is isolated. Jordan is isolated. Cosby is isolated. James, Wade and Bosh formed a collective and racist white supremacists damn near lost their mind. Nowhere else does this phenomena exists outside of the black community.

A system that punishes black men, black women and black children collectively is our real enemy. I am cool with all people who understand and do not actively encourage white supremacy. And there are black people of the coon and bed wench variety who are a ok with white supremacy

I dont understand how being black anyone can call another black person a Coon then talk about white supremacy. If ur black there should be a general understanding that alot of individuals are ignorant when it comes to white supremacy. I agree with you... (Not with your last comment which implied violence) but I agree with your overall statement.

I agree that many black people do a lot of cooning... a.k.a. ass-kissing to white supremacy. To me, there is no more of an appropriate word, because they LITERALLY have the same mentality of scared slaves who were afraid of "massa".

However, I think Tariq is too quick to call anyone who does not agree with him a coon. Like that Doctor that called up his show the other day (Dr. Jason, I think).

While many people are coons, some people have their reason for disagreeing about certain things... (whatever reason that would be), to alienate someone b/c they don't share a particular belief is divisive and pointless.

Tariq use to have solutions when the focus was on relationships and manhood. I'm sorry I didn't hear 1 on this episode. I only heard him state the obvious; ppl that work for Jews opps white supremacy, have to walk on proverbial egg shells.

@ mike, Tim wise is a self proclaimed white supremacist himself. He admitted that on the C.O.W.S radio show, you can probably still pull it up on YouTube. He also stole many of his theories on white supremacy from Neilly Fuller and never gave him any recognition or credit for it. He is the Elvis Presley of white supremacy, so he is a very poor example.

I just heard Tariq on USTREAM mention how we should hit spots like Malaysia for the hair weave. BRILLIANT!!!!! That statement alone hit me like a ton of bricks. Black women are a untapped market for up incoming BLACK businessmen & women. It made me think of a statement he (Tariq) made years ago about how blacks back in the day were global.

It doesn't have to be limited to hair weaves if that aint your cup of tea. But a good start non the less IMO.
