MUCH RESPECT TO KILLER MIKE for telling the bros they need to learn the skilled trades like the japanese ,none of these other folks ever talk about the fact the koreans and japanese have learned the skilled trades from the ground up and that is why they are major players now.

From the little I have seen of Korean and Japanese culture, they have a tremendous amount of respect for a productive man. As long as you are helping building their society, you get some degree of honor. I have never heard a Korean or Japanese person clown an individual who is gainfully employed. Somehow, too many black people are stuck on being a baller or a player, with nothing real to show.

They like any other group of people. Some are racist, some are not racist, and some are REALLY racist. Korea helps with some aid to African countries and they pull that "white liberal" act. Link:

I've flown on Asiana Airlines with about 300 Koreans. Every flight ends with two videos. One is a video of starving africans kids who need Korean money to survive. They leverage Africans as way to remind Korean's that they should appreciate their life. Which only makes them feel even more superior to Africans.

Then, the video directly after that video is some young, fly white guy speaking Korean. It's an amazing contract. 300 people each flight * 20 flights a day = 6,000 Korean people a day stamped with an image of starving African kids and stamped with an image of the video directly after that.

Anyway, my message is the same. Food culture should be the basis of group economics.

Lastly, most flights lands in the capital (Seoul, Korea). The population of Seoul, Korea is around 10 million. In order to stamp that image to 10 million people, every resident of Korea would have to take at least one international flight out of the country every day for 4.5 years.

It would be interesting to know the percentage of who is constantly being re-branded that video. The pretty flight attendants would be one group for sure.

(6,000 / 10 mill ) = .06% of the equivalent population of Seoul is branded daily.

Knowledge + Action = Power. Thanks for the info.

I have never been to Asia but based on what I have been told, the standard of living falls down ridiculously fast once you get outside of the major cities. For example, I keep hearing that outside of Seoul, South Korea is basically a 3rd world country with a lot of poor Koreans. That is why a lot of them end up here. Same with Japan.
My point is, that it is funny to hear anyone make fun of black Americans when they can't make it in their own country around people of the same ethnicity. I know a lot of Easter Europeans and we get along just great. Many of them came from hellholes run 100% by white people, literally, Caucasians. That is why whenever I run into someone from Asia or Eastern European, I always drop some jewel I know about their country. That way, they can't just start dumping on black Americans.

I'm back peddling a little bit here but I'm changing the order of what I understand should be prioritized in Group economics. It is to be understood that collectively, business ventures will not happen in a linear fashion. People are and should be opportunistic. They have their hands in all types of ventures.

However, if we had a choice, collectively, it should be real-estate and then food culture. Property and food. There a feedback loops between al these business and of course they all create ripple effects as Tariq mentioned.

I concur. I would like them to just chop it up (or Tariq to just chop it up with different guests) regularly. Excellent show, Tariq constantly amazes me on how he comes up with different angles/good game on similar topics. This show is up there with the Professor Griff shows (in my opinion)

Yeah, that ALS challenge is sketchy is heck. I keep saying this but the black people in the entertainment industry are the most neutered group of individuals on the planet. They will do damn near any trick to keep their slot. Reminds me of how easily Terrence Howard got replaced by Don Cheadle in Iron Man.

That call between Tariq and Killer Mike is the model for how all of the calls should sound. Two intelligent black men with a clear agenda and working telephones. That is how a flow sounds.

Killer Mike is a beast with the rhymes and I have heard him drop some jewels on the importance of the second amendment to black people. He pushes that one to the point that even I am thinking of joining the NRA. Black folk need to have ears in those organizations.

Black people need to use that cheap internet and cheap cell phones cameras to document all of the police state tactics. This is Jim Crow all over again.

Majority of the Jonestown victims were murdered. They didn't commit suicide. But that was heavily reported in the media, so that people wouldn't feel sorry for the black victims. Other than that, good show.

Plus there may have been military involvement in their deaths ala CIA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown_conspiracy_theory

I had an instructor from Ghana at UAPB who was the biggest coon I have ever known. One day I went to class (late as usual) and he was going off about how how people misuse class items and that they would have to pay. Turns out that he was lambasting my classmate (and close friend) for breaking the lathe in out Manufacturing class. My friend stood tall and kept saying, "I didn't do anything, but I know who did." Finally, the white dude in the class confessed to breaking the lathe, and the instructor IMMEDIATELY began backpedaling, "Oh, we all make mistakes... it will be fine." He tried to salt me up with Nigerian professor with my workstudy. I noticed the professor would say slick stuff all the time, and I would be like "What's his problem, until the day he let slip that they knew each other. The Third Eye kicked in - and I overcame by just being dependable and polite no matter what, the professor actually gave me a present at the end of my semester.

That was a good hustle. Black men have to be smarter just to survive the white supremacist from the back and the coon from the front. There is no rest for a king. Hang in there until you get the grade and then lay down the hammer. Chess not checkers.

I got a lot of respect for Tariq off of that Negro Bed Wench podcast, a classic. That podcast explained every problem I encountered with black women in corporate America, problems that I never had with any other ethnic group of women. The coon and bed wench mentality is a real cancer in our community. Hit it with that mental chemo and surgical knife.

The fact that 7% of people that are affected by ALS are black is an interesting number but raising awareness for an incurable disease is a human thing, not a racial thing. Because black people are coming together with white people to raise awareness to a good cause is a great thing for the American community. For you to throw shade on that is BULLSh%& Tariq. You are celebrating segregated ideals by telling black people to not support something that doesnt necessarily affect them personally. Shame on you. While I agree people should be rallying together for Ferguson, why cant people come together for several causes. Many people dont know what to do when it comes to Ferguson because all the facts have not been presented. This white police officer is guilty before trial and on the flip side, Michael brown is being vilified. Lets get all the facts before judgement is placed. I believe that violence against blacks is getting out of control, cops and black on black crime. Michael Brown is only an isolated event that was the straw that hopefully broke the camels back on this matter. But, please do not tell people they should not support a great cause. Its childish and disgusting. You are too intelligent for comments like that.

When we start blending different causes and platforms together, be it, LBGT rights, women's rights, immigration, diseases, etc., OUR message gets diluted and lost in the shuffle. It has nothing to do with throwing shade on anything or anybody but staying focused on one idea, one message. If that's celebrating segregated ideals then I say it's about damn time!

@Kevin homie did you just sneak in a "what about black on black crime"?!? Assuming you are black, you are another one who just needs to be "left behind". Black people will have nothing to show using your logic.

Excuse my language for a second...

F*** white people with ALS and their other diseases...

F*** Gay rights and lesbian groups

F*** Women's rights groups

F*** Other "minority" groups...

We (blacks) have been fighting to break down doors for EVERYBODY... We do all of the work, and every other group get all of the benefits...

No one fights for our causes (in fact, other minority groups hate blacks) but we are expected to fight for everyone else all of the time...

We have no allies.

Focus on the problems in YOUR community, we'll focus on the problems in OUR community.

The End.

Yup, that about sums it up. Black people have ZERO to show for investing in other people's problems. We have no achievements, no rewards just continual punishment. Other minorities only want to align with blacks to trump their numbers up. I had a chuckle listening to some Indians complain about being mistaken for Arabs and the subsequent profiling at airports. Prior to 9/11, those same brown skinned Indians would talk all kinds of mess about blacks. White people don't mess with them anywhere near as much but socially they are kept at an arms distance. Welcome to the club.

@ kevin, you little SOB, you can pull that stuff on some people, but it isn't going to fly with conscious black people who aren't afraid to correct your dumb ass: http://www.wmcactionnews5.com/story/26408740/road-rage-lands-memphis-man-in-jail
These white folks are acting a fool daily everywhere in the world because Obama's the POTUS. You don't want to acknowledge it until they put their foot in YOUR a$$, just acknowledge yourself for the coward that you are AND LEAVE US ALONE. And don't ask for help when the White Supremacist Lottery picks YOUR NUMBER.

I don't believe those two Missionaries had Ebola. When they come to Atlanta they were cured instantly almost magically and no body did a press conference on the disease and how they cured.

Those two "missionaries" done got into some trouble in Africa and need to brought back to America.

Plus why would anybody want to come to America who has one of the worst healthcare system I would have went to Cuba or even Switzerland

Anytime I hear of a crazy disease in Africa it sounds suspicious.
All of these diseases are new to Africa, meaning that they were unheard of before a) the white man arrived from Europe b) advances in biological weapons.

Awhile back MSNBC had a report on white American soldiers who were used in experiments similar to what happened in Tuskegee.
If white people in America were willing to experiment on white males, then I have no doubt that they have been dropping all kinds of biological weapons on unsuspecting Africans.

I understand that many black people are doing the ALS ice bucket challenge for attention. I personally will be doing it because my grandmother is one of those 7% who died from ALS. I watched it take her out in two years and it is a debilitating disease. I refuse to donate to the bogus charity but I will spread awareness of the disease. The whole point of the challenge is to simulate what a person with ALS feels, however you need about 10 gallons of ice water rather than one bucket of ice water to get the true effect.

Maybe it would benefit African Americans to do a "Run for Sickle Cell" movement...I'm interested to see if any other races would get with that. Somehow I don't see black celebrities participating in that as they have to be careful which causes they publicly support as they could lose their wealth but it would be interesting.
