MUCH RESPECT TO KILLER MIKE for telling the bros they need to learn the skilled trades like the japanese ,none of these other folks ever talk about the fact the koreans and japanese have learned the skilled trades from the ground up and that is why they are major players now.

From the little I have seen of Korean and Japanese culture, they have a tremendous amount of respect for a productive man. As long as you are helping building their society, you get some degree of honor. I have never heard a Korean or Japanese person clown an individual who is gainfully employed. Somehow, too many black people are stuck on being a baller or a player, with nothing real to show.

They like any other group of people. Some are racist, some are not racist, and some are REALLY racist. Korea helps with some aid to African countries and they pull that "white liberal" act. Link:

I've flown on Asiana Airlines with about 300 Koreans. Every flight ends with two videos. One is a video of starving africans kids who need Korean money to survive. They leverage Africans as way to remind Korean's that they should appreciate their life. Which only makes them feel even more superior to Africans.

Lastly, most flights lands in the capital (Seoul, Korea). The population of Seoul, Korea is around 10 million. In order to stamp that image to 10 million people, every resident of Korea would have to take at least one international flight out of the country every day for 4.5 years.

I'm back peddling a little bit here but I'm changing the order of what I understand should be prioritized in Group economics. It is to be understood that collectively, business ventures will not happen in a linear fashion. People are and should be opportunistic. They have their hands in all types of ventures.

I concur. I would like them to just chop it up (or Tariq to just chop it up with different guests) regularly. Excellent show, Tariq constantly amazes me on how he comes up with different angles/good game on similar topics. This show is up there with the Professor Griff shows (in my opinion)

Yeah, that ALS challenge is sketchy is heck. I keep saying this but the black people in the entertainment industry are the most neutered group of individuals on the planet. They will do damn near any trick to keep their slot. Reminds me of how easily Terrence Howard got replaced by Don Cheadle in Iron Man.

Majority of the Jonestown victims were murdered. They didn't commit suicide. But that was heavily reported in the media, so that people wouldn't feel sorry for the black victims. Other than that, good show.

Plus there may have been military involvement in their deaths ala CIA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown_conspiracy_theory

That was a good hustle. Black men have to be smarter just to survive the white supremacist from the back and the coon from the front. There is no rest for a king. Hang in there until you get the grade and then lay down the hammer. Chess not checkers.

Yes....when Ferguson was popping off and people were doing ice bucket nonsense I bet my friend $50 that Will Smith wasn't going to say a word and do that ALS mess....I won of course. Just waiting for POTUS to do it now.

The fact that 7% of people that are affected by ALS are black is an interesting number but raising awareness for an incurable disease is a human thing, not a racial thing. Because black people are coming together with white people to raise awareness to a good cause is a great thing for the American community. For you to throw shade on that is BULLSh%& Tariq. You are celebrating segregated ideals by telling black people to not support something that doesnt necessarily affect them personally. Shame on you. While I agree people should be rallying together for Ferguson, why cant people come together for several causes. Many people dont know what to do when it comes to Ferguson because all the facts have not been presented. This white police officer is guilty before trial and on the flip side, Michael brown is being vilified. Lets get all the facts before judgement is placed. I believe that violence against blacks is getting out of control, cops and black on black crime. Michael Brown is only an isolated event that was the straw that hopefully broke the camels back on this matter. But, please do not tell people they should not support a great cause. Its childish and disgusting. You are too intelligent for comments like that.

When we start blending different causes and platforms together, be it, LBGT rights, women's rights, immigration, diseases, etc., OUR message gets diluted and lost in the shuffle. It has nothing to do with throwing shade on anything or anybody but staying focused on one idea, one message. If that's celebrating segregated ideals then I say it's about damn time!

Yup, that about sums it up. Black people have ZERO to show for investing in other people's problems. We have no achievements, no rewards just continual punishment. Other minorities only want to align with blacks to trump their numbers up. I had a chuckle listening to some Indians complain about being mistaken for Arabs and the subsequent profiling at airports. Prior to 9/11, those same brown skinned Indians would talk all kinds of mess about blacks. White people don't mess with them anywhere near as much but socially they are kept at an arms distance. Welcome to the club.

@ kevin, you little SOB, you can pull that stuff on some people, but it isn't going to fly with conscious black people who aren't afraid to correct your dumb ass: http://www.wmcactionnews5.com/story/26408740/road-rage-lands-memphis-man-in-jail

I don't believe those two Missionaries had Ebola. When they come to Atlanta they were cured instantly almost magically and no body did a press conference on the disease and how they cured.

I understand that many black people are doing the ALS ice bucket challenge for attention. I personally will be doing it because my grandmother is one of those 7% who died from ALS. I watched it take her out in two years and it is a debilitating disease. I refuse to donate to the bogus charity but I will spread awareness of the disease. The whole point of the challenge is to simulate what a person with ALS feels, however you need about 10 gallons of ice water rather than one bucket of ice water to get the true effect.

Maybe it would benefit African Americans to do a "Run for Sickle Cell" movement...I'm interested to see if any other races would get with that. Somehow I don't see black celebrities participating in that as they have to be careful which causes they publicly support as they could lose their wealth but it would be interesting.
