I can recall a time in highschool when I would talk to this particular friend of mine. She loved music and I shared my playlist with her. She then gave me feedback saying she does listen to that hoodlum music, reffering to my hip-hop & R&B music. I was taken back since she herself was black and said that about my music. It was weird cause I never received a respond like that. My boyfriend at the time had to pet me in on the game and it's crazy cause people judge music that is only a form of artistic expression in such a harsh way. It doesn't make sense that it would be detrimental to the minds of people.

Props to Eddie Murphy!

You'd be correct if Tariq was just taking the money like Crispy did and wasted it on a woman.

But Tariq has used the money and made three great docs with it. He kept his word. A lip, smacking mack doesn't kept his word once he has the money. Go on the Fraud's many channels and call him that for his Fatherless America con.

When someone black goes in business or try's to do something positive there's always one coin whose like " o he's taking yall money...don't support him". The same coin will go out and buy(support) a white business who has done nothing for his community. We gotta start having a no tolerance policy, call out, and hold these sabotaging coins accountable.

The reason about Moniq
2/19/2015 09:18:02 am

I'll tell you what happened to Moniq and why Lee Daniels said she didn't play the game.

When Moniq had her own late night talk show, she had many successful black guest. I'm not talking about rappers or athletes, though she did have some of them on her show. She mainly had successful business owners, inventors, self-made millionaires, and rarely heard musicians whom sell out concerts on her show. In other words, her show was a positive one showing that black people can be successful outside of rapping and slave based sports.

And that's why her show was cancelled and she got black-balled. Because while her show was on BET and she had huge ratings, BET is owned and controlled by a white media conglomerate. And it's been made pretty clear that you can promote any black positivity unless a white savior is involved somehow. Otherwise, it must be self-destructive. And Moniq won an Oscar for playing a negative self-destructive role.

Yeah I agree with you on that one bet is controlled by white supremacy and black feminist and showing these coon talk shows like the Wendy Williams show and queen Latifa show its sad that so many black people choose to ignore what's really going on in society they just want to ignore the problem or just get along with

I think it is more of Lee Daniels being one of the Illuminati's lackeys that does their bidding. All these bisexual/gay/lgbt people of fame or power or money have to take it in several of they orifices at some point. Who most successful show runners/producer/directors in black community? Two black men widely known for being molested/gay. But it is nice to see Tariq finally elaborate on why he was so adamant back in 2006/2007 about Monique being so real...

Good show overall; however, I noticed that Tariq did not answer the 1st caller's question. The caller was specific about the disrespectful black females in his job, but Tariq deflected and attacked black males. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like Tariq tends to be harder on black males than black females. He seems to attack black males more often.

Now, while he does attack black feminists, I still think he tends to attack black males more often.

There is a *reason* why the black females can talk to the caller like that. I bet it is because he works at a white owned and white run company. And he was the JANITOR. Women are tuned to POWER. If the power is centered on white males, why *should* the black women respect him? When I worked in mainline corporations, I was making more than ALL of the black women in my level. There were probably 3 black women for every 1 black man. I *still* got disrespected by the sisters. As ONE black among MANY white males, I did not have group power nor group economics. Women are very shallow when it comes to men and power because that effects their ability to survive. Seriously. Show me anyone anywhere who respects janitors. And not to disrespect honest work. But until that man gets his money up and accumulates power, most women will pass him by. Instead of calling to complain about these women, he should call for tips on getting his financial weight up.

You have to focus on the forest, not the trees. Every successful, strong modern society is led by the males. Black people have been trying this matriarchal experiment for generations. It has been a complete disaster.

You have to be harder on the males because the MALES will set the tone for a people. You can just look at a woman these days and know she is under a dusty man. I guarantee you that in companies owned and operated by black men, a black janitor gets more respect. Because the women there will see a black power base. Say there was a lot of black males there who formed a power base at that company. That black janitor could go to the MEN and say "These sisters are tripping." As a GROUP, the MEN could put the brake on the reckless women. Outside of the black community, that is how it works. You rarely hear women in South America, Africa or Asia just talking slick at a working man. That might not end well. so if you want a strong people, then the males HAVE to get it together. the females fall in line naturally after that.

Damn near 99% of the answers to what these callers complain about is: Get your spirit, mind, body and MONEY right.

Smh here we go again with this money fetish again. Lets be realistic for once. The black women at the company is probably doing some HR work or doing some type of miscellaneous work nobody cares about. And some black women will give a white janitor more respect than a black one so don't bring me that women respect power bullshit. If the black women disrespects someone who has a job and bringing home the bacon then she really is tripping.

There is plenty of black women who don't mind black men working as janitors, because they are just as powerless as they are. As long as black man remains financially Independent and making money to support future endeavors to make financially free from white dependance than he has nothing to worry about.

Also I didn't get the vibe that Tariq was attacking black males. He was talking about white supremacy's effect on society. Most of what he said was true and he said men and WOMEN need to get off the bullshit.

K.T.
2/20/2015 05:10:17 am

I work for a white owned corporation myself and always show respect to the Melanin janitors. I do so because I was once a janitor myself, when going to school, and I know how hard they work. The pay was $10 an hour however we worked like dogs and were treated like crap by the superiors, mainly this one black female supervisor. Before I transfered, I gave her a copy of Hidden Colors 1, 2, and 3. I still work at that facility and am now a PCT, going to school for my masters in biology. I run into the same supervisor now and again and she treats me differently now. Not sure if it was the DVD or because I'm in a higher posotion. I still see some of the janitors I use to work with and always show respect to all of them, male and female because the struggle is real. I understand what you mean by Melanin women treating Melanin men poorly due to their position. As a Melanin woman, I can honestly say that I too experienced the same thing and it's unjust. I know it's not the same and males get it worst. However, I don't agree that all Melanin females are like this.

@Scott In the Olympics of Missing the Point, you get the Gold medal.

"Smh here we go again with this money fetish again." Ok. Then explain how to accumulate power without a large amount of capital. How do black people, who get pushed around by everyone economically, become stronger in this society then? Wanting a strong economic base is a fetish? Stay broke and stay lost, homie.

" so don't bring me that women respect power bullshit". WTF is he talking about. Anyone?

@K.T.
Much respect. Sure. I understand that ALL black women are not exactly the same. My background is blue collar. My generation(siblings, cousins etc) is the first to work in corporations and large office parks etc. But you have to be blind to miss how much economic status affects social status. Relative to White, Arabs, Indians, Jews etc., black males are definitely in the weakest position socially and economically. Are we going to pretend women, virtually all women, DON'T know this? That's why I tell black men who criticize black women who marry white men for money...provide an alternative. If you don't like what you see, start an economy that gives the Stacey Dashs, Eve's, Halle Berrys etc an ALTERNATIVE. and that is not golddigging. A woman who has to carry a child for 9 months should be NOWHERE NEAR a broke man.

Scott
2/20/2015 06:48:10 am

All im seeing you doing is giving black women a pass for being a sellout.

I never said getting a economic base is a fetish, however, completely focusing on money and not paying heed to other problems is were I have problem. You are acting like money is the panacea to everything. The white man can always come with their guns and robs us.

Most groups are working for the white man in America, you need to stop hyping up other groups of people because of your inferiority complex(Jews are the only exception). Women respect confidence first, than money. If you think women respect money first, then you're a simp.

You Said: " so don't bring me that women respect power bullshit". WTF is he talking about. Anyone?"

Ok lets bring the comments you made before: "Women are tuned to POWER."

Then you said: "When I worked in mainline corporations, I was making more than ALL of the black women in my level. There were probably 3 black women for every 1 black man. I *still* got disrespected by the sisters."

To counter this I said: "some black women will give a white janitor more respect than a black one so don't bring me that women respect power bullshit."

A white janitor has no money. So why would a black women give him more respect than a black one?

The answers are obvious:
1. she's a coon
2. Your a lame

Mr. Mitchell
2/20/2015 01:15:04 pm

"Black people have been trying this matriarchal experiment for generations."

If you think about it, matriarchy was forced onto the black community; blacks did not choose to practice it.

The white supremacists in US gov't. have rewarded single parent households with set-asides and subsidies (welfare); at the same time, corporations run by racist white males keep black males out of corporate jobs. These same racists will hire black females because these racists are aware that the black females will look down upon unemployed/underemployed black males; therefore, those black females (who naturally gravitate towards men with status) will abandon their black males to lay with the white racists who are in better positions in said corporation(s).... And so the divide and conquer strategy prevails again.

There will always be a limit to the number of black males who enter the corporate world...and this is by racist design because too many black males in such spaces is a threat to the system. I think black females will have to stop abandoning the black males with lesser jobs, but I don't foresee that happening anytime soon.

Agreed. These black women aren't accumulating degrees in order to lay up under some man making minimum wage. Low income and a "hustle" gets zero respect these days.

Right.. o.O

The logic of the posters on this page becomes increasingly hilarious and self contradictory.

Believe it or not there is still honour in honest, paid menial work as a stepping stone to something better. If a woman, black or not can't see that then guess what? She isn't a very nice person anyway and you're better off without her.

Confront the average American black man with common sense and you'll be rewarded with abuse.

The American negro, despite being an embarrassment, in terms of morals and behaviour, still thinks he can get on his high horse talk down to someone for a difference of opinion.

Again, hilarious.

The negro, typically raised by a loud and unstable single mother, will name call without provocation while at the same time as claiming you are being emotional.

Don't dare ask this negro how his opinion became the north point on the compass of blackness, how did his opinion become sacrosanct?

Sir, I am too far removed from the niggerdom that you are referring to, so while I'm sure the "trying paying?" my rent-a-center bill line was appreciated by many here.. but I digress.. Lol

So it has taken you nearly 500 years of renting to say that you want to own? Bravo negro, is that what invigorates you? Basic economic principles that are being practiced by people who haven't been off the boat for a month? Wow. Bravo negro. Bravo.

A few podcasts ago, there was an intense "debate" on whether mixed people were actually black. The implication being that mixed people could not support a parallel black economy.

Now we have an unequivocally black man, Isiah407(look it up), trying to sabotage a legit black business. What is to be done with him? As you will discover he is phenotypically black. How is he useful to the black economy? How is he better than a mixed race?
We kick out loyal biracials and keep the treacherous Isiah407?

It is funny. Only certain "black" bloggers speak in terms of d-riders and haters, instead of keeping a clear eye on the topic: the universal law of having a strong economic base. If you scan blogs aimed at non-black people, they debate the relative value of the idea and more or less put the originator of that idea in the background. They still laser focused on the topic in order to dominate. We get trolls who are caught up in personalities. Black people in large numbers without a common agenda have a programmed toxicity. Take heed.

No one is saying that mixed people cannot support. They are just saying that they are not black.

That should be a pretty simple statement to understand.

Sure, the offspring of 2 humans of different racial background is obviously still human, however the inclusion of constituent elements which make each seperate race distinctive, once intermingled with the other eradicates the base signature characteristics in the resulting offspring.

So yeah, the offspring even 2 or 3 generations down the road will have a hard time claiming anything but 'mixed'.

Black people's need to include everybody into anything they do and are is tied directly to collective low self esteem. Like blacks who get upset when a white rap artist goes platinum, who gives a shit?

If you're black and you sleep with a non black and have kids, you're kids aren't black. Simple.

Not to say they can't support. Just saying.

Reply
BoomerGal

So black people no longer subscribe to the "one drop rule?" Admittedly, a lot of mixed raced people are confused but the confusion usually ends when they develop negroid features and coarse texture of hair.

Hors Sfier
2/24/2015 01:23:07 am

@Logition
Peace and progress.

"No one is saying that mixed people cannot support."
That then should be the end of the controversy. If that mixed people support is in the form of money and material, then those assets go into the war chest that allows blacks a defensive and offensive economic posture.

"They are just saying that they are not black."
That gets into an academic debate black people cannot afford. Other races have round table discussions on abstractions because their economic status allows a certain leisure. If we had a genetic test for black, then I would say ok fine. We do not and never will, as race is a social construct. Mixed race people are such a small percentage, that the disproportionate attention they get is counterproductive.

One of my friends is a mixed race woman, collaborating with me on projects to help black people. We spend zero time discussing her level of blackness. All of our time goes toward setting and meeting goals. If we fail at our goals, what will the level of either of our blackness even mean? Who cares about people who fail? Nothing for nothing.

@BoomerGal
Black people as a group have no concept of long term strategy nor the art of war. We are going to get a harsh lesson on what alliances mean on the fronts lines. Divided and conquered.

Mr. Jon
2/24/2015 09:15:37 am

" once intermingled with the other eradicates the base signature characteristics in the resulting offspring"

And just what is that base feature? See what happens when we attempt to argue an imaginary social construct as if it is biological?

However, the ONE thing I don't like about the "one drop rule" is it makes us as blacks seem inferior.

As if WHITE is some exclusive club one can join only if they are pure pedigree and BLACK is some lowly status that is eager to accept ANYONE with even the slightest bit of black ancestry.

Just how I look at it.

I'm happy to hear about the success of the HIdden Colors kickstarter fund! We need to keep up this momentum with keeping it in the community.

26:18 - That's that shit I don't like. I see it on social media all the time! Black people trying to plead their case to white people with that

"WE'RE NOT ALL BAD!" bull crap.

Enough already! Trying to beg people that hate you to like you is a surefire way to cement your spot at the bottom of the social ladder. The best you can do is be yourself... the best YOU you can be. If you HAPPEN to make a good impression on some in the dominant society good... if not who cares, some of them will hold on to their prejudices religiously, and it isn't our responsibility to make them see differently.

Hell, Barack Obama is one of the most eloquent classiest (not even fully) black guys out there and they call him a N*gger day in and day out.

White society simply has no empathy for races besides their own. Stop begging them to see your humanity, it's pathetic.

31:35 -

I'm so glad to hear Eddie Murphy wasn't cooning! I saw an article online about Eddie Murphy not wanting to play Bill Cosby and I automatically assumed the worst; I thought he didn't want to associate with a supposed serial rapist. But I hear he didn't want to mock the comedic legend that made me so happy!
34:25 -

Yep, it's hard to get positive representation on T.V. and it isn't always the blame of black celebrities. Blacks don't own anything, and every attempt at achievement is thwarted. Hats off to Mo'Nique for keeping it real!

That's kind of why I'm not too fond of Flex using the "They're playing chess we're playing Checkers" analogy.

I don't like that line. We're playing Chess too, we're just a Queen and Bishop down at the start of each game. White people aren't THAT smart... he gives them too much credit. They've been doing what they've been doing for a while, and they have an overwhelming advantage that other races (especially blacks) don't.

That shows you how badly we need to upgrade. When so many of the men are incoherent on the line and have beat down cell phones, we are in trouble. The women get damn near perfect reception, get to the point quickly 95% of the time and rarely get emotional.

Yeah, white people aren't that smart across the board. I work in the tech field and rarely meet a white person who is actually that good. The asians and indians on the other hand...they know that technology levels the field and they will clown white men openly but I digress...

The challenge is that black people are effectively generations behind. We are actually going backward relative to where we were in the 1960s, culturally and economically. NASA is doing studies on which distant planets are inhabitable and how to build ships so that people can survive the journey to other planets. Meanwhile, black folk are getting distracted by Iggy Azalea and some sports team in which they have no financial stake. Who cares who won the Superbowl unless you bet on the team or own shares in it? We can catch up but no more of these distractions.

"We are actually going backward relative to where we were in the 1960s, culturally and economically."

I know man. I think we made strides from the 80's but declined from the 60's. Crime has decreased by a lot, hell NYC went (was it) about 2 weeks w/o a homicide. I believe the teen pregnancy rate is at a low since the 90's.

We do have a lot of stupidity still going on. But I think after the realization that we are in a genocide there has been a rise in the conscious community.

& Yes, what I find ironic is that white folks' privilege actually holds them BACK from greatness. Think about it... Trying to lift a heavy weight with assistance v.s. trying to lift a heavy weight with chains on it. Which person is going to ultimately be stronger?

The white guys who actually are really smart and competent are borderline autistic and/or socially awkward! lol

Eddie Murphy knew he was being set up to take down Cosby. That white weirdo, Norm McDonald wrote the skit. Check out Norm's explanation of what happened and tell me that it does not stink.
White people are mad at Eddie for not doing their dirty work.

What, Norm?! I actually like that awkward ass fool! LMAO

Many may not agree with me, but I actually think most white people are siding with Cosby. Again, I don't base the census on entertainment, because what can and can't be said is greatly restricted... Most entertainers won't defend Cosby, save for a few of his "kids".

I base it on Social Media b/c no one can filter/ control that. The only one's for the most part I see attacking Bill are the bra-burning, unshaven armpit, Lena Dunham lookin' crowd!

Lena Dunham, another whack job. yeah white feminists gave Lena a pass on her pedophilia but are really trying to take out Bill.

I will agree that the day to day white man is pretty indifferent to Bill Cosby. In his prime, he was harmless to them. The media though has a textbook methodology for taking out a black man.

I did not know that was him, although I remember every time MacDonald came on with his "news" back in the day, I immediately changed the channel. White men don't care about Cosby, just like they didn't care about Tiger Woods. White bread Black man sleeping with White women? "Uh huh, Where's my orange juice and my newspaper" The Illuminati wants more power for women in America because it lowers the birthrate. Think about it, all the wars in the world are places where men are/were the head of the household. Feminine/punkish metrosexual men make white women feel less secure, ergo less pregnancies

@Hors Sfier

I'm for alliances to a certain degree, i.e. mixed race "blacks." Outside of that, I'm skeptical b/c those alliances end up using our cause to further their own (LBGT, Feminists, etc.)

@Mr Jon

I've found that light skinned people of color (not mixed from an immediate lineage, such as myself) tend to feel the opposite about the "one drop rule." I'm finding increasing numbers of black people who consider that one drop, a badge of honor. I suspect that may be due to our ever increasing consciousness as a people (thanks to the Hidden Colors series and all the activists featured in it) but as a Boomer who came along in the "Black and I'm Proud" era, I've always considered the one drop rule a positive.

Well, that is another way to look at it, I never thought of it like that before.

"Outside of that, I'm skeptical b/c those alliances end up using our cause to further their own (LBGT, Feminists, etc.)"

Yea, I don't do all that alliance stuff... other groups, fight your own damn battles!

Although a lot feminists/lesbians like to single out white males in particular. It may be more so to gain minority support than b/c they care that much about white supremacy. I guess it varies from person to person.

@BoomerGal
Agreed. Right now, all I care about are civil rights for BLACK men and BLACK women. Everyone else can handle their own affairs.

He's talented. Unreal game when it comes to men and women. When he talks about getting chosen, that's deep shit. Can't put a price on jewels. Respect
