I just wanted to say that Magic Mike is an international hit. It's doing so well that I started to feel guilty. Why did I use the hyper sexual segment of black culture as inspiration for my scenes and put a white-face on it? I don't know why I did that.

Maybe it's because I know that their are so many virgin markets internationally who have yet to be branded. It wasn't my intention to culture jam/block people. Nor was it my intention to internationally cock block black men either.

I guess I'm a little upset over my divorce. Also, on the set of the Knick, people keep praising Andre Holland just because he is playing a black doctor. It's like white guilt is running rampant on the set of my show. I guess my confession here is due to a chain of guilty events. Just wanted to get the guilt off my chest.

This is why I rock with the brother Tariq. That first caller complaining about S.C. not being represented is a classic dusty "brother", waiting for someone to act on his behalf. "Brothers' like that are useless and dangerous.

And that black man at Keenesaw might be slow in the head. Calling the security forces(military, police) is rule #1 for white supremacists. That kid's life was on the line. According to reports he was majoring in fitness/physical therapy so the cops would have used the Super Negro myth to justify killing him. Naw, it was a stupid question, Tariq was 100% right. If he want to do a movie about South Carolina, for whatever reason, racism runs through this whole country. That dude needs to do it himself and stop waiting on someone else to do it. Keep in mind Tariq is bombarded with stupid emails, phone calls, etc. on a daily basis

Word 'em up. Say what you want about Tariq but the dude puts out books, lectures and movies about what he believes. I tune out anyone who goes into Bitch Mode but refuses to provide an alternative. The worst black men out there now are those who do nothing but complain about another blacks efforts...yet do nothing.

Some black women gorge themselves on Real Housewife shows for seasons on end, through multiple cities(ATL, Miami, Orange County), yet you get people complaining because a man produced his own documentary series. Produce your own or shut up. The black community has enough bitch men and thirsty attention whores.

Ha! There is a telling scene in the first episode of the Nick. That black doctor gets hyped up by his training but has to deal with the cold reality of white racism. The Clive Owen character tells the black doctor to take all of his advanced skills and go apply them to the BLACK COMMUNITY. Sounds racist but there it is. The black doctor is begging a white hospital to accept him while black people would take him in. So begging a white has more prestige than serving a black. That was the black doctor's mindset. Who knows how that series will play out but I hope black people watching it caught the game.

I was just so pissed that the only work I could sell was about the struggles of some doctor and his black bitch in the basement almost 100 years ago. Am I predictable? Is it predictable that I would do some anti-black shit almost immediately upon deciding to work on "The Knick". Are we all like that? Predictable? Am I part of some equation on a white board? Did someone out there know accepting "The Knick" would make me behave in this way? Maybe but I know one thing....

Black people aren't special, so I had to immediately help create Magic Mike to balance this shit out. My newest sequel comes out July 1st, 2015.
