Whut up Chief! #1 rule in business: Customer is always right (even when their wrong, their right). Ask yourself, is it more feasible to fight with the customer or charge it to the game and make $5,000 of tht same customer in the long run? Business is a marathon not a sprint.
SN: It's also good to give your customers "freebies or something extra" every now and again. It shows you appreciate them and further encourages their loyalty.
There are a few stores my girlfriend and I go to around my city, Asian owned (Americanized Asians if that matters) and they've hooked us up for being repeat customers. Now the free snacks they gave us will now pay for themselves due to the profits they've made from our consistency.
Tariq always delivers
It's fitting that this is the today's topic. I had a situation last week referencing to this topic. I was having a very bad day and I went to my second job which is my brother's business. I should have just called out but I went anyway and one regular customer came in did something people do all the time but I needed something to get pissed at I guess so I got a real bad attitude with the guy. So after he left my brother called me outside and told me how that's not acceptable. That people come to do business with us and we should never treat customers like that. I couldn't do nothing but agree. I think he gave the guy something free or a discount. On my own I decided to apologize to the guy so I got his number from my brother and called and apologized for my behavior. That was the adult thing and correct course of action I feel. Can't wait to hear the show.
Excellent comment about any "race war" that ever becomes overt. It would not be as pretty as the average white racist would believe. That's just common sense on that.
I imagine though that the powers that be probably realize this deep down.
I'm not quite sure about that part...
He says they'll be a race ware when a majority of black folks wake up.
If the past few years haven't been a wake up call, I don't think ANYTHING at this point will be... Maybe antebellum slavery again... if that?
There's a covert war going on now. Being that it's covert, most Black folks can continue to ignore and believe otherwise. I include myself at times...
An overt war would be one that no one could ignore (even the straight up coons) as none of us would escape imprisonment or death (as in any war). This is a completely different scenario, and one IMO that would see Black folks standing up straight and bringing that heat.
Tariq im glad your not afraid of speaking the truth.. Keep it flowing. I been a listener since 2006.
I forgot to mention. I have hidden colors 1.2.3. Thinks for the knowledge. So much stuff been happening since part three. You gonna have to go 3 hours with part 4. I will pay the extra money. Oh and dont forget to change the battery in your smoke detector.
When the lady who's a baker got critic for having a hard to find and badly designed website, she accept Tariq's complaint and promised to fix the problems. Lou on the other hand got all butt hurt and starting to tweeting that Tariq was throwing him under the bus and wouldn't even call the show. That's not a good look. And then he admitted that he didn't care as long people liked it enough for him to get paid. Also not a good look. Tariq is 100% percent correct.
I knew you always spit great game, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was the best show in a minute. Not because of the topic or cause the other shows weren't good, but because it was a more all around lesson and reminded me of the old mack lessons, lol...EXCELLENT WORK REEK!!!
I went to the lecture in Detroit ..those seats were hard as HE double hockey sticks.. my legs kept going sleep.. that discomfort was a great distraction.. I guess no pay no game!!!
I agree with Tariq, white people are NOT scared of black people like everyone thinks... they pretend to be because it is a convenient way get away with racism (I feared for my life, I moved b/c the neighborhood is dangerous not b/c I'm racist).
I tell you, I see white hipsters walking around in neighborhoods I couldn't even walk in, but they have the complexion for the protection... even amongst blacks.
On the topic of quality:
I agree with Tariq 100%! While I support group economics, if I go to a white store and the cashier converses with me and smiles and I go to a black store and the cashier is frowning at me, or half-assing the job, guess where I'm going?
We need to be equally competitive and stop with the "good enough" mentality; it shows a lack of respect for self and other black people.
I agree, that Tariq ensures things he does are top quality... (maybe not "the school" lol). But constructive criticism: Tariq needs to learn to respect his audience as well. I'm not to big on him kicking folks out of his lectures for disagreeing... white folks don't do that!
And it's sad that I have to use "white folks" as the metric for acceptability, but it is what it is.
"I'm not to big on him kicking folks out of his lectures for disagreeing... white folks don't do that!"
That video provided me with no context.
On a side note to the last part of the show (re dealing with one Caucasian person at a time and they behave), i know conscious people peeped Brooke Hogan writing a poem to defend her racist daddy going off about her dating a music producer (who's black)....
