I'm deeply hurt by the way she speaks of her son. This is exactly why there are so many angry,confused, and emotionally damaged young brothers out here. I'm in no way saying that a mother should not want more for her child that prison life is unacceptable and as parents we have the right to feel disappointed shall the child go in that direction. But damm!! Mom!! That mouth is really trashy ..she put herself on YouTube talking that way about her own child! What do her other kids think?How they must feel having their mother making a total ass out of herself for the whole world to see.
"Don't drop the soap" she says,that is disgusting to say about your own baby! She is basically saying he deserves to get raped because he is a punk kid?(most likely acting act bc she messed up raising him)
The sad thing is that you have people paying thousands of dollars to adopt or use medical intervention to have children and want to parent so very badly. Then you got this total louse that treats her son like yesterday's garbage. I have 5 sons and I could never imagine saying such things about them.
Her whole gripe about the criminal activity in her community was totally lost by her foul mouth , ignorance,NBW attitude and most of all how could anybody absorb anything of what she was saying once she went all massa on her child.
She is an absolute embarrassment to her family and an embarrassment to all black women that are raising sons! She and that media circus mom that beat her son in Baltimore on TV should be the face of what not to do...don't treat your children like animals, don't humiliate them on a national public platform, don't blame them when they mess up due to your crappy shortcomings, and don't wear $2.00 blonde wigs and weaves talking crazy expecting level headed people to take you serious!!! What is that the uniform of a NBW?

This podcast is why I respect Tariq. You never hear white people advocate violence against white children as a disciplinary measure. They use medication, counseling, time outs, etc. Violence is never the answer with their sons and daughters. Violence is only used for ours.

I always said if that Baltimore mother was worth anything, her son would never have been out there acting out. And where was that son's father? Was his mother a jump off? Tell the truth and tell it all.
That Baltimore mother was no role model.

And you never see the white media put a foul mouthed white mother as an example of anything to follow. Even that disgusting creature from Honey Boo Boo was called a Matriarch...even though her youngest daughter was obese. Even though her other daughter was molested by a grown male with the mother's knowledge. Until that molestation scandal broke, that mother was celebrated for having a real family. And that Duggar scandal is hilarious.

White people push an exclusively wholesome image of white motherhood. But when it comes to black motherhood, we are a long way from parity.

I live in metropolitan area with a large black population. Every single story that is about a black mother is negative. I mean every single one. No exaggeration. With one exception. In 2014, I read a story in the local paper about a black woman that had nothing negative. I had to read that story three times just to convince myself that the papers actually printed something nice about black women.

Almost all of the black women stories in my local news media are about hoodrat mothers, drugged out mothers, weave stealing mothers, abandoning a baby for community penis mothers, etc.
The media is not a friend of black women. Never has been.

I don't care that black people have harsh opinions on other black people. But the base level of The Code is don't allow yourself to be used by white media.

I remember Icecube's character in Boyz N the Hood: His mother didn't like his dad and she mistreated him and turned him into a thug that was murdered in the movie's epilogue. I also know that cousin of mine, the first dude she got pregnant by, he was 31 year old gangbanger living at home with his mom, and he asked my uncle if he could come live with their family cause he and his mom were fighting all the time

Yeah. That's the truth. Sounds petty but the real, deep seated reason a lot of these black women wear blonde weave is to compete with white women. Those long, silky weaves they put on their heads has NOTHING to do with attracting black men.

Black men dated, married and started families with black women in all their natural hair for TENS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS. So all of a sudden, black people fall under white influence, and the black women are sporting those silly looking weaves. When I was in grade school, between 1st and 8th grade, every black girl I knew had a healthy head of hair that would at least reach to her shoulders. They had mothers who took take of their grooming. They had not been fully indoctrinated.

When the media started pumping this myth that black women are much better than black men due to paper degrees from white run institutions, that is when you saw this weird creature with dark skin blonde hair and the occasional blue contacts. I rarely meet a white woman with a weave. But damn near half the black women I know show up with some mess on their head where I am wondering if she is really a shim. And you will cry if you see how that scalp deteriorates under that weave. But I digress.

When Beyonce did that L'Oreal commercial for hair care products to treat that white girl weave stuck, glued, stitched to her head, I had to question the insanity of black women and weave.

How are you a paid sponsor for a hair product and in the commercial you don't even have your real hair? I guarantee none of those white girls are wearing weaves. They are taking care of their real hair. To me, neglecting your real hair is a health issue. When I see what is happening under those weaves, it scares me. It looks like rot.

I hate conflating and deflecting the points but there is a delusional aspect to the weave that only black women are victims of.

It gets deep. The hell I am doing jack to look like my oppressor. I don't want his aesthetic. I don't want his religion. Eff 'em both.

What do y'all think about that black gunman who shot up his coworkers in Virginia?

I say hey, a bunch of racist Neanderthals used their white supremacy tactics to bully him out of a job. And it came to bite them in the ass!

Dylan Roof shot up a bunch of people who were only being nice to him, Flanagan shot up a bunch of asshole coworkers!

I think black people have reached their limit with white people and is a sign of things to come. I couldn't care less though.

Not to get in fake negro outrage mode, but I don't see any good from what that man in VA did. I am neutral on his actions. It was tragic for sure but without all the facts, who knows if he hit the people who were actually mean to him. Of course, I am not going to go on an apology tour on his behalf so white people can feel reassured. Again, I need all of the facts. Just like white people needed more facts re: Dylan Roof. ;-)

In general, black people don't celebrate acts like this. When left alone, we really are a peaceful and hospitable people. I think this one and the other one in NYC where the two cops got murked will be a wake up call to white people. Black people have been under a system of physical and mental abuse for a long time. And we have just been putting up with it. With as much untreated mental illness as there is in the black community. With the easy access to firearms in the US, you may see more black people flip and just start busting shots at white people. When a white dies at the hand of a black, it is usually because of a robbery gone wrong and messy, not intentional murder. When black people start looking at targeted shootings as a means of making a point then...yeah...you will see that fear the DC snipers put in the nation's capital back in 2002.

Religion is not saving us. The prospect of being trapped in this system is enough to break people. If you look at history, the concept of vendetta is very strong. It is unheard for a group of oppressed people like blacks in America to go this long and not retaliate. We have been conditioned to be docile, black men and black women. However, when you factor in mental illness and despair plus easy access to firearms, white people may be getting a bit nervous. Which is fine with me. That status quo is not working.

Back on what you said... White people fear retaliation, black people are just too docile so they've gone an UNBELIEVABLE amount of time without fighting back, when compared with other oppressed groups historically.

There is an old civil rights picture (that I can't seem to find right now). Some racist white people in the Jim Crow south are protesting segregation and a white man has a sign that reads "stop black snipers".

I think that was a big part during that time that history chooses to ignore and sweep under the rug; that is, that black people were fighting back. But they'll only show MLK... I don't recall the last time Huey Newton was paraded in white society and he followed the law!

Just saying violence is effective (right or wrong). Dylan wanted a "race war" because he knows the true definition of that is:

Yeah. Back then in the 60s, I think black people were fighting back overtly and covertly.

With respect to overt actions:
A while ago Tariq mentioned how black teens were actually sniping at white people back in the Civil Rights Era. Supposedly it was the concept of an armed insurrection of black youth that got MLK the political support he needed from the government. When faced with MLK or armed black youths, the government chose MLK. Armed black youths AND communist influences...

With respect to covert actions:
Have you seen the show The Americans about a Russian spy couple in the USA? Keep in mind that a lot of white people accused MLK of being a communist. I always wondered why white people backed then were so freaked out about black communists. Then I started seeing some propaganda posters from the 60s by the Soviets. The posters had black and white men linked arm in arm against their oppressor, the United States. North Korea used the same type of posters. I don't condone either regime but it was interesting that the Soviets and the Communists knew America was vulnerable with respect to black people. I mean black people were afraid not loyal. Fear and loyalty are two different things.

Spoiler alert for Americans to follow. Skip it but don't get mad at me if you decide to read it anyway!
Anyway, there is a scene in the Americans where the very white Russian wife, Keri Russell's character, walks into a black neighborhood at night by herself. And she is looking for a specific black man. She walks into that neighborhood with no fear. The black men there recognize her. Keep in mind she is a Russian communist spy. The history is that she used to help this black man during the civil rights movement. They even used to bone. And her husband knew about it and approved because black agitation was a destabilizing threat to the US.

All that to say, people outside the US knew enough to organize blacks as a force. This is why the US had to propose an alternative to communism etc. The government knew black people operated from fear not loyalty. As soon as that fear goes...those shots will start flying.

I just hope that black people don't start going on CNN and going into apology mode. When Dylan Roof killed the people at that church, the relatives immediately went on tv and started talinkg about love and forgiveness. You could even see some black (maybe?) people online posting about forgiveness. Every comment I've read about this story from white people has been non-stop "fuck him" and "fuck niggers". So yea, don't expect white people to come through and preach about love and peace with regards to our people.

I read a similar story about a latina that had the same experience as the sisters on that Napa Valley Wine Train. Her and some friends were complained about by a white supremacist, and got the same heavy-handed treatment by management. They were told they were being too loud, so they moved to a different car and purposely kept their voices lower than others in the car, but were approached AGAIN. There was a party of white women, behaving loudly and celebrating, but they weren't approached.

Whelp they are calling VA shooter "unstable" and going over in detail how this guy purchased his firearms. It pretty safe to safe new gun laws will be on the books asap. I ask where is the NRA making their statmeent??? Crickets is all I hear. This proves they are a racist hate group hiding behind the "right to bear arms" spin.
I hate what this man did but no less or no more than what I hate that Dylan Roof did.
But I will wait for all to be fully investigated and I'll keep my eye on all this "white on white crime".

Watching a news brief about VA shooter. His former employer is on. It's so funny how they are already talking about the screening process for hiring people. Code for how can you keep black people from getting such jobs. Also they are saying he had issues and had acted inappropriately after his claims for discrimination were denied and he was then let go. Hmmmmm sounds like some other situations. Black men don't go crazy and kill white people just because. The last thing a sane brother wants to do is do hard time behind killing white people.

@Phaddi good point..so true so true. I've been a few situations where blk people I knew just knew they were in good with their white friends and employers. But no sooner are they put in their place(it always happens) they want to get all up in arms and want other black people to band wagon with them.
I'm well versed in white office politics and white code and I never allow myself to ever think I have immunity to the WS social structure...ever! The white people I have in my circle I can count on one hand and black people that kiss ass I have none of those in my circle.They're far too dangerous.
Work is a job to make money and take care of yourself. It's not a place to make friends. Black people always fall for the pot luck, secret Santa,after work drinks were all family bullshit. I go to work do my job am respectful but I keep to myself. My last job didn't even know I was married or had kids for until I had been there for over a year. No social media with co workers and about 10 years ago I stopped accepting invites to coworkers weddings,Bday parties, or holiday parties. I've seen way too much inappropriate behavior exhibited by black and white coworkers crossing that work relationship line.
So I can totally see this VA shooter buying into the office culture thing and then quickly learning he's not in the club and then going off.

One of them might talk a good game about racism to you, but when she is away from you, she (or he) gets bedwenchy with the white male power structure? She/He is a snitch. Its like Tariq said on a Ustream show, black people are having Human Resources called on them all the time. I have a BLACK managing director who has his BLACK administrative assistant come and spy on me in my cubicle, and we have a BLACK SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT for our division... guess where? That's right, Human Resources... and I don't leave my cubicle during working hours except to go to the bathroom. I would have been a coon, except I have experienced too much racism, and seen too much disenfranchisement in the black community.

In 2012 I worked for a company called Thresher Communications in Sunnyvale, California. They install communication systems in companies like Google, Facebook, Huawei, Zynga and so forth

One day they had a workplace violence seminar. The woman hosting it referred to the Hartford Distributors shooting. She pointed out that the shooter was a black man who had long complained about the company's racial discrimination practices.

She declared "If you know of anyone making similar complaints in your own company be very careful. They might be getting ready to do the same."

When companies talk about screening employees what they're really saying is "Don't hire blacks unless they are willing to go along to get along no matter what."

I think what you may be saying is that even though I think I may be a private person at work ..somebody I may perceive to be trusted is really trying to keep me from progressing within in the company? Which I can honestly say in the past that has happened but I've learned and I keep all politics, talk of racism and my personal life to myself. I like to try and present myself as one dimensional as possible at work.
But I may be far off your point.
