Yeah pretty much. White supremacists understand only two things: weapons and money. Black people should be buying the bare necessities. Stop making the people who hate you rich. I don't celebrate any of these dumb holidays. All of my purchases are supporting my business. I don't rep any of these sports team either.

It just might. Until a few years ago, black people could live in this fog. Right now, it is clear to most that there is a full frontal attack on blacks, that never ended. Black men, black women and black children are getting the business. I run into more disillusioned blacks than bed wenches and coons. I think what we with skills need to do is build up supplementary income that becomes primary income. I hate going to the hardware store to make a major corporation rich. My point is that there is an open mind in the black community to alternatives, especially amongst the youth. My kitchen cabinets need work but I do not want to pay a white company to do it. I need a custom suit but I passed on the white company while I find a quality black tailor or black seamstress. etc.

We are playing catch up right now... Should have been on this (collectively) alert after Katrina. I guess Obama fooled a few people into relaxing again. None of this should be a surprise as we see U.S. fascism take off it's gloves (again).

White people keep acting like blacks are destroying their own property. These people setting fires don't own that stuff. What do they care? White, Indian, Arab and Chinese care some though.All of this happened within less than an hour drive of the nation's capital.

I just think its a gotdamn shame that every other week another brother is blown away or every week some one is being called a nigger, i dont condone the riot@all but i mean when you consistantly see this shit every week and not everyone being convicted, then how do you expect people to act, folks are tired, rioting is not the answer but i mean gotdamn what is? We have these bullshit laws abt discrimination to protect persons living a different lifestyle and try to compair that to civil rights, wtf? So what laws are being created to protect us from somebody killing us and our kids our people. THIS SHIT GOTTA STOP!!!!!!!

Hi people, I am a 53 year old mother of three. And for years I have been saying this same thing. Back in 68 the day of the M.L.K. assassination my father and I was Rob by the police. Being a six year old I didn't understand but soon found out. My father took us off that bus a long time ago. You can't piss on none of my father's children are grandchildren and say it's raining. Like I said from the start that mother in Baltimore should have not caused a scene. If I wanted my child off the scene I would have just walked up to him and said follow me. But as bad as it might sound if he was throwing rocks at them good for him. These young men are tired, they're past being afraid and I'm proud of every last one of them. Doing peaceful marching is not going to work. It have never worked and never will. None of mine better march nowhere . Black people have done enough marching to go to the moon and back. After 400 year you should be tired. Our youth are tired and are willing to fight back. I rather my son stand up and fight to the death then passively sit like a deer in the hunters sight. Hell people die in wars all the time. And this is war. Mothers it's time to let your sons be men.#getyourassoffthebus.

Yeah. You have a generation of black youth who are not afraid to die. And Baltimore is a strategic city. If the price of a black's life is tens of millions of dollars in property and loss of the USA's propaganda power worldwide then so be it.

The foreign press has been on this heavy. Hard to lecture China on human rights when a prisoner of war, Gray, gets his spine severed.

I'm not against protesting. In my opinion it doesn't always have to be peaceful. But there are real consequences for these kids in Baltimore who have engaged in the property damage etc. They will be dealing with the consequences of their actions for years to come.

Those kids had been dealing with those consequences for a long time. Gray is not the first black person in Baltimore to be brutalized by the police. Social media and a camera are the differences these days.The real worry for the oppressor is when those kids get smarter about how they protest.

I am not a fan of that kid sitting in jail, but the system being what it is they could have up that kid anyway. That's the problem. Freddie Gray died and the police didn't bother to lie about why they were chasing him or why he was under arrest. Think about that. A week later, what exactly were they going to charge him with when they arrested him? Nothing. And he is dead.

So yeah a kid in that system isn't to stressed about torching a car. He figures his number is coming up anyway. That is the price of a oppressive system that feeds prisons and degrades communities.

I have friends who treat black people like they are nothing man. I know they are racists. If you aren't a racist black person, then something is wrong. We treat black people like they are less than human on purpose. We want you to be racist towards us! If you are black and you say you are not racist towards whites, you are lying. How can you not hate us?!

I never believe a black when they say they don't hate all white people. It's unbelievable because we have no respect for you. Policing your own would be pretty helpful man.

white people are trolls online and offline. Getting into a discussion with them about race, diversity or the n-word is a waste of time. The only thing white people understand is power from a weapon or through money. The dialogues on race are a smokescreen. I have never had a conversation with a white person in real life on race. The resentment you have toward Black people has absolutely nothing to do with "policing"; you know it and we know it. Go run that on somebody else. The root of your resentment stems from the fallacy that you think you are supreme and your chickens have come home to roost. It doesn't matter. If not supreme due to our genetics, we are permanently supreme due to our position on the chess board. We'll stay on top as long as we have the buying power. I'll admit, I know people who scour nigger culture to look for projects that have only failed due to the dysfunction in nigger culture. I say that on the surface there are numerous point where I agreed with Tariq. However there are countless areas where I strongly disagree with Tariq. While what happened in Baltimore is yet another sign systematic abuse by police and racism. There are other solutions than looting and contributing to the gentrification of Baltimore. To criticise the mother for diciplining her child is misplaced and irresponsible and the situation for blace people is far better served by parents being parent than the rhetoric of empty slogans.

With all due respect @ Freed..he was not questioning diciplining the young man it what the manner in which she did. It plays into the notion that black men must be disciplined and dealt with by using violence. That reasoning and talking is never a 1st option. I'm not saying hands at times are not needed but in such a way in a very public way. I have teenage boys and I respect them far to much to humiliate them and then to continue the humiliation by going on every news outlet to continue to embarrassment campgain of my child. If moms is putting hands on him in such a way then others will feel it's ok as well. Why is it if a woman puts her hands on a man out of anger or frustration it's socially acceptable but when a man does it its abuse? If we're moving to a place of all things fair and equal with men and women why is such conduct ok? If a dad had done that to his daughter he would have been called a child beater or an animal.
My main issue with that mom was her media tour that she did afterwards. She said something that struck me as odd...she said" I didn't want my son throwing rocks at the police and being another Freddie Gray" uhm isn't the outline of events is that Freddie did nothing wrong??? Her statement implies that her son was doing something bad like Freddie and Freddie died because of his actions and she doesn't want her son to die. That statement of hers was run over and over again by the media. Along with her "I don't play that" catchphrase. She allowed the media to trick her into telling all her business and feeding into all the stereotypes about black mothers.
Ugh rant over.....
